Indo-China war Inevitable ?

They've been operating S300 since about 1993 when the first batch arrived about two battalions worth (8 batteries)

According to sino defence the PRC has around 160 launchers which can provide barely adequate protection for some key cities and a few strategic assets.

As for HQ9 that is only in limited service for evaluation by the PLA and FT2000hasn't even entered production due to a lack of orders both domestic and international.

I read at WAB that there is no such thing as HQ9...

Apart from some border skirmishes near Sikkim or Arunachal Pradesh I don't see any major war erupting between India & China.

No offence, but I think Pakistan is already having enough fun at home.

Glad you acknowledge that but then again we are not the ones saying so its your kind who is all worked up and hyping things as ever. I'm sure you can find plenty of articles regarding that here posted by you guys.

Both China and India cannot afford War, War normally happens between Big and small countries or small and small countries either in terms of size or economy.

sino-indian war = american dream come true.

two future threats will be fighting each other. may even go nuclear. american supremacy reamins unchallenged.

seriously, sino-indian war scenario is just an american pipe dream. tensions might rise, cross-border infiltration might take place, espionage might increase, but at max it will just be a sino-indian cold war.

but i doubt even that will happen. indians and chinese dont generally have a hostile approach to each other. by and large the populations of either country have no hostility towards the other. any tensions can be solved by dialogue.

Guys this thread is not to start a hopeless discussion. There is a steady increase in the Chinese intrusion into indian terrotory, and this could anytime turn into a war - It may not be an all-out war, but there is a definite possibility of a war. And this is why we have this thread.

errr... exactly what i meant!
Sino-indo war/cold war scenario still exists.. would love to see another 1962 :smitten::china::sniper:

Mate, did you forget 1965, and then 1971 and then Kargil. What are you proud of ? You dont have faith in the military of pakistan ?

1962 cannot be repeated- If you know even ABC of Indian Chinese parity right now.
