東方新聞 - è*¦æ–¹è¢–手旁觀 山東回民ç*¸æ¼¢äººæ‘

There was an ethnic clash between 1,000 Hui Muslims and Han Chinese which left 20 injured at Ningjin of Shangdong Province. The article describes it as more like Huis out hunting Han Chinese. The Chinese authorities are covering up the incident because of the current volatile states of ongoing ethnic clashes in China.

According to the article(if you are to believe the Han Chinese version of the story), two Hui young men tried to harass one Han Chinese middle school girl. The mayor of the village saw this and criticized the Hui men to behave themselves. The Hui men got angry, so they returned with a knife and stabbed the mayor and his sun. The next day, 1000 Hui men showed up and went on an indiscriminate attack on Han Chinese, during which a public servant's leg was severed and 20 were injured. The Hui justification for the attack is that the Han Chinese were belittling them and their anger against the Han Chinese finally exploded. The Chinese authorities have the situation under control, but is trying to make sure the story not leak outside at the moment.

news are sensored and fabricated in china. yesterday i said the same thing while chiniese tried to defend there media.

what chinese media says is government voice and highly manipulated stuffs.

Those aren't Muslims, the original article clearly state they drank alcohol. And why are we hearing this if CCP are trying to censor it.
Huis are muslims. Of course there are muslims who drink and eat pork, especially in China.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hui_people

The Hui people (Chinese: 回族; pinyin: Huízú, Xiao'erjing: حُوِ ذَو ) are a predominantly Muslim ethnic group in China. Hui people are found throughout the country, though they are concentrated mainly in the provinces of Ningxia, Qinghai, and Gansu. According to a 2000 census, China is home to approximately 9.8 million Hui people, the majority of whom are Chinese-speaking practitioners of Islam, though some practice other religions. Although many Hui people are ethnically similar to Han Chinese, the group has retained some Persian and Central Asian features, their ethnicity and culture having been shaped profoundly by their position along the Silk Road trading route.

what are you talking about?

they have already replied that these people are not Muslims(because they drink alcohol)
so it means Hans can do whatever they want with them...
you can argue with sane people and not with adamant people..

Of course there are alcohol drinking muslims, especially in a lawless place like China where the Chinese authorities complain of western companies being corrupted just like Chinese businesses after being around in China for a few years. Being in a lawless place like China does have a strange effect on your moral code. When you are in China for the first time, you try to wait for traffic signals, ask locals where the parking is legal, eat quietly, etc. After five years, you too are ignoring traffic signals, park anywhere, spit on the street, and eat with your mouth open, etc. And these Hui Muslims have been in a country for generations where the clerics who are supposed to their moral guidance are all thrown away in prison.

I will give you an example of what being in China for a few years does to a western company's morality.

Hershey's China's product.

Would Hershey's try to sell garbage product and trick their customers in the US like they do in China? Nope. Why does Hershey's do it in China then? Because everybody else does and you feel like a moron if you try to be honest!

I don't know, but Hershey's did learn a thing or two from its Chinese competitors while during business in China. You have McDonald's also suffering a similar quality problems in China, although whom to blame is not clear(The company or the Franchise owner?)

What I am trying to tell you that even the western companies learn to do things in China that they would never do at home, all because they are in a place where such cheating is tolerated.

Well, if alcohol made you non Muslim, there would be many who would disqualify. ;)

On topic, there have been many who claim that Hui are fully integrated and are no different from other Hans. This was always surprising because that doesn't match with the behavior of Muslim converts anywhere else in the world.

If this report is true, is it an isolated incident or just one that leaked out?

These houses literally made of garbage aren't in China:

My question is, how do Koreans stand literally living in garbage?

These corrugated metal houses aren't in China:
Those are re-development areas. You can already see the re-developed areas behind. Those buildings from the 60s and 70s are all cleared out and replaced with high rises as land is super-expensive. Current residents get to move into new larger high rise buildings free of charge like the ones in the background; the construction cost is paid for by the new residents. A pretty unique re-development system where everyone wins.

My question is, how do Koreans stand literally living in garbage?
when you live in a Greenbelt area on the land you don't own, where the construction is forbidden but decided to make a home yourself regardless of law back in the 70s and 80s and the government has no power to kick them out.

At least something like this doesn't happen in Korea
