Indian Missile defence system is ready for induction, reveals DRDO chief

Missile shields are good, but its not guaranteed to work.
If both India and Pakistan posses the greatest, laser anti-ballistic missile in the future, i guarantee you both countries will find\have ways to nuke each other regardless. Once a country has acquired nuclear weapons wars are rare within the two. Only Mutual assured destruction is guaranteed with a stalemate.

Time is for peace.. no more wars.

It is better than having none and would do the work for now, what happens in the future is for us to see and deal with then.

How come China doesnt even have a missile defence system yet?

We do not have a missile defense system.

We only have a system that shoots down a hypersonic ballistic projectile while its still in space that's definitely not a missile with another hypersonic ballistic projectile that's definitely not an interceptor.

if its ready then chup chaap instal kardo.. why so much mahurat and band baja

Actually all this Mahurat and band baja are part of deterrence. BMD is a strategic capability, so making your adversaries know about it is important.

If X country had to think 5 times before launching a missile at India, they ll have to think ten times after knowing that India has BMD capabilities. There will be chances that X countries missile gets destroyed by Indian BMD, so the enemy will have to think of those consequences.

If before the enemy anticipated to destroy two Indian cities and expected two cities of its own destroyed by India in retalition, after BMD there is an added dimension. What if India intercepts the missile and then retaliates anyways, as India won't be under the obligation of no first strike policy after that.

So declaring your strategic capabilities and letting your enemy know about is very crucial. At the end of day these weapons are not to fight a war of attrition, but to prevent any such war from breaking out.

Well put mate. But no meaning to that troll. That guy is trolling in all Indian threads with nonsense comments.

India is attempting to become a global superpower.

Indian Ocean is becoming India's Ocean.

This makes it an existential threat to the whole world.

That's ridiculous ! Although i'm a bit surprised to see a Chinese guy type out those sentences. India ; whether you like it or not...is a democracy....and a stable one at that. India hope to become one of the major powers that drive the world someday....but that day is not today...We still have a lot of issues to resolve.

India is neither stable nor a democracy. India is an unstable military regime ruled by a monarchy much like North Korea. Just like North Korea, the regime is inducting ICBMs and missile defense while its citizens go hungry. 1.6 million Indian children starve to death every year. The average lifespan of India is lower than some countries in Africa. This is the result of a military first regime.

This regime wants to become a superpower.

That is why it is an existential threat to the whole world.

Even if India becomes super power or Indian Ocean becomes India's Ocean, why it is threat to world? You should be happy, it counter balance US in th region. China is also trying to do the same.

India is attempting to export its ideology of Hindu race and caste apartheid to the world.

However India will fail, just as its ballistic missile program has and just as its "anti missile" program will. That is because India suffers from race and caste apartheid.

Only China and Chinese allies will be concerned and alarmed about Indian capabilities. North Korea, Pakistan, and North Sudan.
