What's new

Iran, Israel, Pakistan and North Korea were rated most negatively.

"Who are you to ask me on names? Moreover If i say someone by the name of Khalid in Canada, would you know him? No."

Who are you to ask me on names? Moreover If i say someone by the name of Khalid in Canada, would you know him? No. So don't come up with silly questions and stop nitpicking my post. I am already done with you.

Okay, it's Khalid in Canada. Good to know it isn't me.

I don't see a single post discussing Pakistan. All the Pakistani members are eager to talk about only India.

No not really, if you have read post#16, which is my post, i have clearly discussed Pakistan and Pakistan alone and tried to highlight few factors which are a main reason for our negative image worldwide.

Hey, you pretending to be an American? You're an Indian, right? Place an Indian flag.

Time to shift the subject to Pakistan.

There are different opinions on "Pakistan is acting or not", but it is clear that "Pakistan does NOT look like acting". I think Pakistan should think seriously about this instead of just concentrating on India.

I am not looking for a fight if this is what you intend.:tsk:

No, I'm intending to resolve misunderstandings. Why would I want to quarrel with a brother residing in my homeland Pakistan? I have great respect for my countrymen. I understand and admire what difficulties they are facing. I have utmost respect for these people because I don't have to face the same difficulties.

Nope, time to shift the focus on India.

I think India needs to get over their obsession of always making comparisons and involving Pakistan in every matter. Pakistan and India have nothing in common. Pakistan has a different history and culture. We need to make a distinction between both. That's what we need to do here.

There is no other opinion about Pakistan as far as mumbai incidents are concerned, other then ofcourse India's. Pakistan is already very near to completing its own investigations and the outcome will be out there for all to see.
Moreover the people from the very administration of the US had said, people from the UK have said that Pakistan is doing what it can and in difficult times, this is not why our image is low, our image is low because we don't present our side of the story at all factors i have mentioned in my previous post. As long as we continue this approach and let others play with our image and let others continue to display our image as they deem fit, this routine will continue.

Those reason are very valid. You cannot deny that the West has vested interests with India. The West cannot bare a Muslim nation armed with nuclear weapons. It's not part of their plan.

Also, India having the privilege of having better relations with the West, misses no opportunity in blackmailing and spreading false propaganda regarding Pakistan. Why wouldn't India do that, since they consider Pakistan as an enemy, right?

But this is what the image is all about, isn't it? It is not the reality, but the image we are discussing.

Many Western people still think that India is a land of jungles, elephants and snake chanters. But I cannot just point at it and leave. Because, this means India has failed to improve its image. So, is the Pakistan in all respects.

Thank you very very much for discussing Pakistan, in a post by a citizen of Pakistan, in the thread concerned with Pakistan, in the forum for the Pakistan.

Now I cannot complain about Pakistan members misleading the thread, no matter how strongly I wish.

I think you should start a different thread.

As far as your "bold" words are concerned, go and have a good look at the title, first post and every reply on this thread. Sure will see "who is involving whom in every matter".

Image? Those are facts. The West and India aren't hiding them under a carpet either. iit's not a secret.

Why would you care about Western opinion? Do you feel insecure? Are you really bothered by Western opinion? Western culture and civilization is different from other civilizations and cultures. That doesn't mean that civilizations and cultures are inferior or superior. Some outdated practices in those cultures perhaps are inferior.

Surely you're turning a blind eye to zhero who started this thread with the intention to single out Pakistan. You should read his posts.

Lots of plausible arguments ('vested interests'/'image problem'/etc.)...till post number 42...

Why is Pakistan perceived to be a destabilizing influence?

I am surprised that no one has mentioned Dr A Q Khan yet. Has he been 'set up', or was he running a nuclear store? What do the people in Pakistan think?
