US Aircraft Carriers near Senkakus

Russia is a wild card. It may remain neutral or side with China, but it seems unlikely that it would support the US against China -- at least not in the region.

That's not because it likes China, but because it doesn't want the US to get overconfident by having its global dominance reinforced.

The recent participation of Russia in International maritime exercise in pacific ocean and Gazprom venturing in joint collaboration with Vietnam in SCS is a signal that Russia won't side with China either.

Do some research or take some history lesson before you embarrass yourself again. Let me give you a little hint: check out border demarcations between China and: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Vietnam and Russia and see how many of them have border dispute with China.

Every neighboring country of China has disputes with China, the border land between China and Pakistan belongs to India(Aksai Chin) there is no border between China and Pakistan.
Do you even know about these disputes or trying to argue with me with half baked facts??

So tell me, how many of those countries on the list I gave you currently have border dispute with China and can you please name them.

SCS,East sea, Aksai Chin, Tibet, spartly Islands, Parcel Islands ...... List goes on.

The only agreement which China reached with Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan was because China don't want trouble with any of those countries when Xingxang separatist movement is going on.

The border disputes which China resolved with are the countries which are neighbors of Xingxang which is oppressed by CCP. What is the point of solving this dispute when whole Xingxang is in illegal occupation.

^^^ Getting smart now ain't we? Sidestep the question without giving me a direct answer and divert to something else that have nothing to do with our discuss at hand.

Oh BTW, "SCS,East sea, Aksai Chin, Tibet, spartly Islands, Parcel Islands " none of these is a country.

these are disputed lands associated with countries around China do not divert the logic of the discussion.

As jim rogers said, India will break up 30-50 years, once the Sikhs and Tamils gain independence.
The Indian regime won't be able to do another operation blue star and slaughter the Sikhs and destroy their golden temple get away with it.

Hope we support the Sikhs and Tamils to gain independence.

We need to get tough with this mass murdering fascist Indian tyrants.
We need to interfere in their internal affairs.

Commonwealth of Independent Chinese States.

(And Tibet and Islamic Republic of Turkestan will refuse to join the Commonwealth).

I think Russia will be neutral in this dispute.
China?, no. Russia itself is wary of China in its Far east.
US-Japan?, of course, no, because "of course".

LOL at all these indians, Viets and Koreans with inferiority complex from being beaten down by China masturbating themselves just because some US carriers returned to its naval base in Okinawa.

Don't worry, after China finishes off Japan, then it's time to take back Andaman and Nicobar Islands from india, take back Viet-occupied Spratly Islands and help North Korea blow away Seoul in a massive sea of fire.

You have an aptitude for humour!

Aside from Diaoyu, which is non negotiable, China's incoming new leader, Xi, is working around the ASEAN arena. But then what can any country do when some belligerent country, back by a bigger bully, keep sticking it to your face.

Even on the Diaoyu affair China was satisfied with the status-quo until the right winger Tokyo mayor, Shintaro Ishihara, started all the troubles.

Status quo?
if you really want to take back the islands (because of national pride and access to the Pacific), then China would have to overcome some challenges, and if successful and you could get them back in 10 years. I have worked out a plan, do you want to hear it?

If you're not trying to pull a devilish game on me I'm all ears.

Let's remember though China is not really in a hurry to take them back and her aim is to make sure Japan doesn't build military assets on the islands or has excuses to station warships in the surrounding sea.

In fact if China takes full possession of Diaoyu now her position would be a little awkward vis-a-vis Taiwan, don't you think?
