True. My purpose was only to highlight the fallibility of the human heart. An oral history of bravery is laughed at out here(India).

This might be radically different in your culture.
It also depends upon the memory of people!

Pairon par ley kar Ablay, Muhajir ban kar aye

Iss watan ka khyal rakhna, Isay Anch bhi na aye

"With calloused feet we trudged and as refugees we came

Take care of this homeland, May no discomfort ever disturb it."

The English translation does not do justice, but perhaps you can get the sense I tried to convey from my father's perspective.

As for me - I might want something to like "He thought it was important to be Earnest"
