The gentleman himself represents the biggest issue with Balochistan. These three tribes have been eating 19% of GDP all by themselves, they have enjoyed power for decades howevee the blame for their incompetence goes to the govt. I'll take him as much seriously as Akhtar Mengal.

@Irfan Baloch - @DESERT FIGHTER

What kind of public support does he command ?

As a native of Balochistan myself, I can tell you that this person has no role whatsoever in the politics of Balochistan. After the 18th amendment, Baloch nationalists are not left with much to complaint about anyway. The source of their problems in not the federal government, but their own Sardars, as you have correctly pointed out.

So in other words you are supporting the disintegration of Pakistan. I was never wrong when I say India is our mortal enemy.

@WebMaster @Horus @Jango: What is the policy for those who openly support disintegration of Pakistan and terrorism?

You are not advocating 'moral support' instead active intervention just like you did back in 1971 in East Pakistan, and as you did in Sri Lanka by arming and supporting terrorist LTTE. At-least stick to your earlier stand if you have no fear of ban.
India should and is giving moral and diplomatic support to the Baloch freedom fighters.

Does Pakistan gives support to Nagaland fighters, Maoists or the Assam rebels ? No because they are integrated territories of India. There is no claim of Pakistan on those territories. Likewise, Does India lays any claim on balochistan? If not then why India should give moral support to Balochistan insurgency which is an integrated state of Pakistan ?

Yes. Till 1971, Pakistan used Bangladesh to support NE insurgencies as declassified CIA documents clear.

In any case, Pakistan has been involved in Islamic terrorism throughout India.
It is natural that we will give "diplomatic and moral support" to the Baloch. We don't want Pakistan's favour in Kashmir and elsewhere to go unrequited.

That's the kind of problem with Indians. The tend to overreach when it comes to Pakistan and cry wolf when Pakistan moves beyond kashmir and supports insurgency elsewhere.

I'm from one of those "tribes"...

And the situation in Baluchistan is bad due to the f.. ups of we all know who.. And it's poor due to our own corrupt provincial govt.

Read What I wrote, .... I said you assessment is a wrong assumption... Our security is not at all dependent on pakistan...We are perfectly capable of taking care of our security needs, and we necessarily don't need any favors from Pakistan in being a buffer state. If you disintegrate, that is your problem, not ours.... state of your condition is not paramount to India's security, and in no way that suggests I am openly supporting anything.... All I am saying is your assessment is wrong...

Before crying foul, try reading the post in it's entirety.....

I have read what you wrote hence my comment. And your assessment (more correctly assumption) that you'll be able to tackle the problem if Pakistan gets disintegrated is flawed. Few hundred or at most a thousand Kashmiri freedom fighters have literally forced you to sink 700000 strong in Kashmir. You disintegrate Pakistan and there would no longer be just 1000 gorillas fighting in Kashmir and/or elsewhere. Your top brass know this hence a bleeding Pakistan suits them more than a disintegrated Pakistan.

sure, this response is absolutely valid, you can disagree and debate my pov and challenge me on the strategic impact of the such event, but you deliberately misconstruing what I said and accusing me of supporting disintegration of pakistan is just unethical and dishonest.

typical bollywood screenplay..plus the boat drama
WTF are you talking about, kid? Are you even aware of the seriousness of the Baloch issue? Stonewalling and obfuscation will make the situation even worse. Stop living in denial for once. Your government needs to take corrective measures now because there is a clear and present danger to the unity of Pakistan.

Even the Americans are taking advantage of the situation there and fishing in troubled waters as can be seen in this report...

US Congressman Dana Rohrabacher had introduced a resolution in the US House of Representatives calling upon Pakistan to recognise the Baloch right to self determination.

The motion, which has been co-sponsored by House Representatives Louie Gohmert and Steve King, highlights Balochistan’s troubled past with the centre after the creation of Pakistan.

So wake up and smell the coffee before it's too late.

What would stop BSF to shoot everything that moves along Pakistani border within rifle range, or for IA to establish a sanitized zone on Pakistani side of border after Pakistan has disintegrated?

Or What would stop India from capturing a 3-4 Km wide strip along Indo-Pak border and extensively mine it after expelling civilians living in that strip , like DMZ of Koreas.

After all, there would be no Pakistani army to stop India from doing so in disintegrated Pakistan.

Why should India worry about Pakistani integrity?
