China Invites International Collaboration on its Space Station Program through UN

How, by vetoing India at the NSG?

The world is much bigger than you guys think.
List of space faring nations is not that big. europe & japan will follow US. India will just give verbal commitment.
Then which other space faring country does china plan to enlist ?
Having other countries will only give you nuts & bolts or at the most donuts! Unless china is MTCR member no other country will share the technologies.

Yes because after having launched 2 of our own Space Stations so far, we are in desperate need of the technology needed to create more. :P

We don't need other faring nations, we can give any nations a ride into space even a poorer country such as Ethiopia, we don't restrict nor condemn other poorier mankind that can't effor space travelling. China always chose a path different from western which only allow the rich chosen ones to be board in their space station. We don't need MTCR because we have all we need to get into space.

And we will lead manking into space in the 21st and 31st centuries :Dand let westerners to keep their tiny exclusive club to enjoy space adventure.

For now China is the only nation in Asia that able to undertake to build from A to Z the space station and by invite other nations via UN, we can break Western monopoly in space which is good for mankind. Let hope China and other nations can make the better use of the space station to do something good for mankind.

How? Let's not talk about minor space powers. Reg major space powers who will join you? US, France or Germany?
Japan wont. India has a chance only if China makes a formal proposal.
Russia is the only country which might actively engage with you for many of its satellites and launch vehicles are failing alarmingly. And for money.

Perhaps you are talking about SUPARCO? :what:

It will be very interesting to see how China is going to use her upcoming space station for those developing countries, who may not have their own space dreams otherwise. The fact that China invites other countries to join via UN, is very interesting in itself. That is called "inclusive"! No more "Elite Club" type of BS anymore!

We offer but we don't beg any space power to join us, we have a modest space mission that we're capable to finance by ourself. As for India I think you better go to join the other space club, since US open 99% of their tech to India:lol:, we have nothing to offer.

Well the ISS has 15 countries (Canada, Japan, the Russian Federation, the United States, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom) ...that is pretty good. You think China will top that number?

Its not about Finance. China can finance 10 space hubs by themselves. And still has the technology to do so.

But its amusing by its method to gain international legitimacy through UN and its challenge to rival the ISS. Its a good thing that an Asian power is trying to rise upto ISS.

For the record, India is not joining ISS neither the Chinese station.

China was declined to participate in ISS, and it feels the pain. There are about 200 countries in the world, so I would prefer Chinese space station program to be as inclusive as possible.

When the ISS go down on earth, all these nations will be disbanded, there is no sign that these nations are willing or capable to finance ISS v2.0. But China will probably be the only nation to operate Space station.
