Jammu Muslims can be sent to Mirpur and Poonch divisions of Azad Kashmir. Since those 2 divisions are the same ethnically/culturally as Jammu and were once part of the same Jammu province in the old princely state.

Ladakh Muslims can go to Gilgit Baltistan. Again geographically and ethnically/culturally contiguous and were part of the same Frontier province of the old princely state.\

Kashmir Valley Muslims can be shifted to Muzaffarabad division of Azad Kashmir (since that was part of the old Kashmir province and and also has a large ethnic Kashmiri population).

Its more important for Kashmiri people to be free and their sufferings to end. Sometimes I fell they should just do hijrat to Azad Kashmir. Many Kashmiris have already come across the LOC (illegally and at huge peril). People in Indian occupied Kashmir say that the Indian government does not allow them to migrate to Azad Kashmir.

If we can't get Kashmiri land free then we should at least repatriate Kashmiris to the free side of their homeland.

What do you think?

Given an option I don't believe more than 2000 Kashmiri Muslims will migrate to Pakistan

Were East Punjab Muslims given an option? No. They were forced out by the Indian government.

And FYI at least 30-40,000 Kashmiri Muslims illegally crossed the dangerous LOC in the early 1990s. Its a dangerous route. Hence why we don't see migration in the lakhs. Plus the current mentality is to free the land. I am proposing migration as an alternative route to freedom.

No..

There should be a full fledged referendum in Kashmir , and all the 3 choices should be given to Kashmiris to decide their future ..

Thats the ideal. But lets be pragmatic. India won't budge. If we can't free the land, we should at least free the people.

Ladakh Muslims are going nowhere. May be you don't know this, but Ladakhis can't stand the folks from the valley. Due to religious and other reasons.

Rest - you have the full moral support from me.

No Kashmiri people would not want to leave their birthplace, their land .. This won't be acceptable to them.. It is their land.. why should they abandon them??

They want their land independent and are ready to fight for it for as long as it goes.. Abandoning their land would be like losing the Freedom Struggle in real terms for the Kashmiri people .

But Asiya Andrabi,s relatives live in Islamabad :undecided:
And 40,000 refugees live in Pakistan that migrated from IoK

Actually I believe the number is higher. 40,000 is the low end estimate. There are many more who are living with family and friends. Thousands more also migrated in the wake of the 1965 and 1971 wars.

Ladakhis can come live with their ethnic Balti relatives and their co-shias in Baltistan.
