  • If India beat us fair and square I would hve no problem, but I don't think the victory was fair. You know? I'm a good sport, but it seemed like bs.
Hi Boris. I only watch it during Olympics! Ping pong is not much of a spectator sport, I think. So much of the game is in the spin of the ball, which you can't really observe.
Hey there buddy, how are you doing??I had few questions to ask.
1.I heard that,US Marines rejected the M4 infavour of the earlier semi automatic M 16A2 as they found that the M4 severely lacked accuracy and killing power beyond 300 meter due to their shorter barrel. Is it true??If it's true, then won't the INSAS also enjoy greater long distance killing power than M 4 carbines??
IA specified a rifled gun for Arjun MBT as they wanted it to fire HESH ammo which is not possible with a smoothbore gun as the HESH needs spin for stabilisation. All right. My question was that, can't we create the grooves on the outer surface of the HESH rounds??That way it should get spin from a smoothbore gun.Isn't it possible??
    Hope to see your reply.
    THANX in advance. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Hey pal,it's good to see you back.Hoping to get more valuable infoes from you in the coming days.
    REGARDS. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
THANX bro,now I get it.By the way,the INSAS is not a bad weapon.I mean a standard INSAS 1A has a 472mm long barrel where as a M4 has 370mm barrel. So atleast w.r.t accuracy and stopping power,INSAS will will hands down. What do you say??
Buddy, can you specify any possible deficiency in Vidhyanshak AMR??And any info regarding the ARDE developed 40mm UBGL for INSAS and AK series of Assault rifles??Has it entered operational service??
Many many thanx for such an informative reply.Yeah,a bolt action weapon is obviously more accurate and has more range because the whole energy from the gas is used to propell the projectile where as in a semi automatic weapon, some of the energy is diverted to rotate the bolt, hence lesser range and accuracy.Actually,I have a cousin who is in 57th mountain division. He told me that the Dragunov SVD is not used by sniper teams but Designated Marksmans ,instead they use the Heckler&Koch SP66.
    REGARDS. . . . . . .
Nice reply bro.But do have any idea why IA rejected Vidhyanshak AMR??By the way,for the Designated Marksmans the semi automatic Dragunov SVD59 is best choise than the bolt action Mauser MSG90 or Heckler&Koch SP66,these are ideal for Snipers-what do you say??
    THANX in advance.
THANX for replying mate. But as far as I know, the standard issue sniper rifle of Indian Army is the Heckler&Koch SP66.The licence produced Dragunov SVD59s are used by the Designated Marksmans. But I may be wrong though, would like to know your openions.
    REGARDS....
Hey bro,do you have any info regarding the Snipers and Designated Marksmans in Indian Army and their capability compared to other armys world wide??
    THANX in advance.
