  • Let me know what you decide----. For 50 yds---that is a little long range for average air rifle----you need to look for higher quality----like the RWS----Beeman-----but very important---read the reviews----a lots of reviewers are very capable and knowledgeable shooters---. Quite a few are just like you----firing range is too far and they want to plinket in the back yard----.
You can check out this web-site www dot pyramidair dot com ---- one of the best place to buy an air rifle----. Air rifles come in many sizes and forms---from cheap to very expensive-----from break barrel to highly compressed air through air pump to co2 cartridges---to pump action-----.

The break barrels are simple---a good quality german air rifle would do----depends how serious shooter your are---how tall you are and your physical strength level should also determine the type of break barrel that you would want to buy---my personal choice was the RWS 350 magnum .22----.

Also Beeman 97HK is a great rifle------. Shooting an air rifle is different than that of a regular rifle-----they are also heavier than the regular rifles---so if I was you---I would look for the weight first and then effort needed for cocking the rifle---there are lots of reviews on that website for the rifles---.

Let me know what you got.
