Massive weapons and explosives cache discovered in Lahore, Allama Iqbal Town.

1500 KG of explosive, timers, detonators, dozens of hand grenades, ammunition, LMG ammo in a shop. Shop was rented out to an individual who never opened up leading to suspicion and a tip off to police.

Bomb disposal squads on scene - expected to take another 45 minutes to neutralize

Congrats to the police for finding this, but how the hell did these people get 1500kg of explosives into the city? It seems the police aren't vigilant enough at the checkposts to me.

What great job police have done in it, it is the guy who gave the tip they have to act what else?

How come so much explosive found its way to such a big and internal city like Lahore where was the police and inteligance agencies?

Such a recovery in Lahore is a cause of concern and shows how deep the terrorist have developed their network.

The real worry is their sleeper cells.

WAH CANTT: The police on Tuesday arrested three suspected terrorists and seized 260-kg of explosives from their possession in Wah Cantonment.

Regional Police Officer Aslam Tarin said that they stopped a truck filled with bricks near Wah Cantt to undertake inspection and found a huge amount of explosives hidden in the bricks.

The police arrested three people on board and initiated interrogation.

ATTOCK: The Attock Police on Monday seized a truck packed with explosives from Haji Shah Area.

According to police, the truck was recovered from Haji Shah area near G.T. Road in Attock on 12:30 am.

Ten explosive-laden trunks, cables, and other items being used to make bombs were seized.

However, three people on board managed to flee from the scene.

not police but the person who has the state of mind to act n tip off police. otherwise we would b looking at another massacre.

i think the guy should b awarded n police should b punished for such an act.

What the heck is going on? So much explosive moving around. Good thing is its been caught else it could have resulted in few more tragedies. Good Job done by the alert person who tipped off about the 1500 KG explosive and offcourse Police. I think such collaboration between police and public in the need of hour in these trying times.
