1940s Urdu documentary about creation of Pakistan

Title is misleading. Its a bunch of clips from those times on which dubbing has been performed by modern commentators along with background music.

Excellent share

Very nice documentary. I impressed by the graceful grave voices of the old commentators. Today most of the male anchors and announcers in Pakistani media sound high-pitched, shrilly and feminine... more like ... not manly at all ..

Keep the good work up and don't be discouraged by any liar and a troll on the thread. These kind of creatures exist in every society.

Do you see a liar and troll on the thread?

Pakistan itself got independent in late 40s means 1947 and this documentary must be created after the creation of Pakistan then how can be it called 40s ?

Anyways young people should be aware of the circumstances of that time and struggle that our elder did to get rid of Brits.
Anyways nice share.

Yup 1948 and 1949 were also 40s. But that's not the point. The documentary is the main thing, not title.

Also look at how many leaders actually asked for seperate country at Simla. Nehru, Jinnah and Tara Singh.
Nehru and Jinnah got what they asked for Sikh got cheated by Nehru, killed raped and plundered Muslim Punjabis on Partition about a million Muslims were killed by attacking Sikh hoards who burnt train after train.

Sorry but that's intellectual Dishonesty ,1948-49 are Late 40's or early 50's therefore it is not correct to call it 40 as of mainly 40's remember Muslim League itself won the number of seats needed & of any significance only after a along struggle & continuous public rejection as late as 1946 ! til then there weren't any buyers for Mr. M.A. Jinnah's & Mr. Iqbal's two nation theory , in fact most of the Islamic Scholars of that time , were some of it' hardest critic's & it is no secret that most of the Ulema hazrat had opposed the division of India & the creation of Pakistan through out the 1940's

Title does not say early or later 40s?
Also it surprises me how much time people here waste on trivial things.
Did you watch the documentary btw?
