500 candidates from J-K recruited in CRPF, IBN Live News

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) recruited 500 candidates, including women, from different parts of Jammu and Kashmir last year, a spokesman of the paramilitary force said today. "As many as 500 candidates, including women, from Jammu and Kashmir were selected for jobs in the force during 2011," the spokesman said in a statement here. He said the recruitment drive was conducted in February and December last year for candidates residing in Jammu and Kashmir for the post of general duty constables and tradesmen.
"As a goodwill gesture, CRPF had organised coaching and counselling programmes frequently at various locations in the state to facilitate the youth of Kashmir to face the competitive examination more confidently," he said. During the coaching camp, the spokesman said, the youth were provided free study materials, lodging, boarding and transport facility.
