To those that claim that Syria war was homegrown...

Remember, this is just one minor country. If so many people joined from Belgium, imagine how many joined from Muslims countries or countries with high Muslim population.

"After a thorough review of our data, we do estimate the total number of Belgian foreign fighters who were active at some point in the current Syrian-Iraqi at 543 individuals now. Almost 70% of them have joined Islamic State, while Shariah4Belgium and the so-called Zerkani network remain the most important recruiters. 127 people have returned to Belgium, while at least 105 were reportedly killed."

Belgium fighters have joined as early as 2011.

Europe allowed their terrorists to go to Syria, they think they will be of a use for their devil work in Syria.. But they failed miserably and now these terrorists will bite the hand the fed them in Europe

The right-wingers in the West are now blaming Syria and the whole Muslim world for everything.

See how easily they can be manipulated.

It is their tool, they start wars and destroy nations and then blame the region for it

Their elites know what they are doing, and don't expect they would discover for their conscience.

Their mass population can be easily manipulated by their elites. Their leaders are all the same, and don't expect that they would become nice with the non-western nations.

Yeah, because the "region" is ussually an oasis of peace where people sing kumbaya next to campfires

Europe was safer when Syria was at peace.. Don't you agree? Even the region was generally safe except for Iraq which the west also caused it's chaos...

Belgians ain't only foreign fighters in Syria ...

Fighters from Western States, Russia and China.jpg

Before the Arab Spring erupted in 2011, some 30,000 Muslim foreign fighters had already taken part in 18 different
conflicts, ranging from Bosnia to Kashmir and the Philippines. Since 2011, more than 25,000 foreign recruits from 104 countries (including, for instance, Argentina, Honduras, Cote d’Ivoire, Cambodia and South Korea) have been drawn into the conflict in Syria and Iraq alone, notwithstanding the absence of ethnic or cultural links of many of the foreign fighters to Syria and the Arab world. Their numbers have grown from less than 1,000 in 2011 to more than 3,500 in 2012, more than 8,500 in 2013, more than 18,000 in 2014 to more than 25,000 by September 2015,reaching nearly 30,000 according to both US and UN estimates.

Actually it'd been , many of current problems in the region caused by outsiders and external policies adopted by colonial powers ... for example sykes picot agreement which in England and France divided the region between themselves creating countries with boarder disputes, ethnic problems and so on ... England is behind Palestine and Kashmir problems ... besides supporting dictators, military coups and so on ...
For instance Iranian could have enjoyed a democratic Gov since 1953 but MI6-CIA orchestrated coup deprived Iranians of it ...
It was the CIA behind Mojahedden (later on AQ)in Afghanistan, it was the US which supported Saddam prevented any form of condemnation in the UNSC against usage of CW by Saddam against Iranian .. the WMD and AQ were some of reasons behind the Iraq 2003 invasion led to the current mess ...
