Well, the dreaded "appeasement" word is coming out of the US policymakers' mouth vis-à-vis the Afgan endgame from the US's POV!!! They want to make the deal "attractive" for Pak so that she ensures an easier ride!!! As I have been saying IK is a Bahtiyar fellow, and he's sharing his Baht with the Pak folks....

Let's see what Mevla has in store for us*
Whatever it is HE renders it auspicious

The details are in the following article from the Dawn, a principal mouthpiece of RAW/CIA/MOSAD inside Pak!!! This nest of the snakes needs to be pulverized if the Pak folks want freedom...

WASHINGTON: A senior US general has informed Congress that Pakistan knows very clearly there can be no peace in Afghanistan without their assistance and the United States has to make it “attractive” for them to cooperate.

Lt Gen Kenneth F. McKenzie, the next commander of the US Central Command, also said at his confirmation hearing on Tuesday that the death toll of Afghan security forces was unsustainable and that’s why a peace deal was needed.

“Their losses have been very high. They are fighting hard, but their losses are not going to be sustainable unless we correct this problem,” Lt Gen McKenzie told the Senate Armed Services Committee.

Senator Mazie Keiko Hirono, a Hawaii Democrat, introduced the Pakistan factor in the debate when she asked the general why he believed Pakistan had a role in the Afghan peace process. “Are there any indications that Pakistan wishes to play that kind of a role?” the senator asked.

“I do believe that any solution in Afghanistan is going to require the assistance of Pakistan. It has to be a regional solution, not just a solution centred in Afghanistan,” Gen McKenzie replied.

He said Pakistan would be interested in playing this role because “it’s in Pakistan’s long-term interests to have a government in Afghanistan that is stable, that they can do business with”.

But Gen McKenzie also acknowledged that Pakistan has “not shown indications, by and large, over the last few years, of being a serious partner in this regard”.

US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad was meeting Pakistani leaders to find some way forward, he said, noting that “it will be hard to reach a settlement without some form of assistance in Pakistan”.

“And you say that Pakistan has still not acknowledged that it has a potential major role to play,” Senator Hirono asked.

“Pakistan knows very clearly that their assistance will be required to reach an end state in Afghanistan. I think the task that we have is to make it attractive to them so that they see that it is in their best interests to do that,” Gen McKenzie replied.

“You use the words like attractive to them that means they will want something from us in return,” asked the senator. She also asked if the general believed the Taliban too have a major role in a future setup in Afghanistan.

“I believe that it does,” said Gen McKenzie while responding to her question about Pakistan. The Taliban, he reminded the lawmaker, still had around 60,000 in Afghanistan, compared to a US-led Nato force of about 16,000.

In a written statement shared with Dawn, the White House National Security Council also underlined some of the points raised by the general.

It noted that in a letter he sent to Prime Minister Imran Khan earlier this week, President Donald Trump sought “Pakistan’s full support” for the Afghan peace process and for Ambassador Khalilzad’s reconciliation mission.

Hey...they are mentioning the word "attractive" because they are trying to show that 'OH, we are convincing Pakistan to find a political solution, or , we are convincing Pakistan of something or the other"...they just want to show that they are the ones calling the shots and trying to get Pakistan to do what THEY want.

But obviously we all know its all bull sh**...Its been Pakistan that has repeated the mantra of "Learn from us and do it our way!" but obviously the Americans cant show that, hence the word "attractive"...before we start giving them what they want, better get the amount off F-16's and Zulus that we want and the spares to last us 10 years and then move on to helping them. This is the time, we have them now in our hands lets make the most of it. And as usual keep in mind what ever we promise to them we better fulfill so that our standing in the eyes of the Europeans is not tarnished.

So all in all well done Pakistan. Uncle Sam is realizing that we were right and it has to be done our way. Now, lets pray to God that our way works, LOL. But still, Good job. And also, make sure the Germans, British and the Scandinavian countries are in the loop. These countries are the ones that down the road will come in handy if we have good relations, especially Germany. Britain is important but i still feel, Z Germans need to be brought closer to us.

Yes, they need to help us to help them.

Unfortunately Pakistan's economic patience and playing ball persistence has now waned thin and we need an exit strategy from this horrible fiasco of the Neocon's making. US will will just pull their forces out and leave Pakistan to face the consequences for years to come from a a very destabalised Afghanistan and Indian fueled war by proxy.

We partnered with the US and now have been unceremoniously dumped and have little to show for it other than an hostile Afghanistan , a shattered alliance with the US who expected Pakistan to sacrifice all for their game and a bankrupt economy and meddling from the Indians.

The Yanks have been making it very attractive in the past 17 years by allowing their lapdog India and Afghanistan to carry out countless terror acts on our soil. Fact is that America has failed in balkanizing Pakistan along ethnic and religious lines. There is no denying that this was their primary goal during the Afghan war. We need be to very very cautious here. The Americans are simply put untrustworthy. There shouldn't be any deal on Afghanistan. Seal the border and send the Afghan refugees back home. Anything less will compromise Pakistan again. We are doing perfectly well and our decision to move away from US treachery. It is a blessing to team up with China and the neighborhood. It is paying incredible dividends. The Americans don't hide their displeasure regarding Pakistan's change of direction. We fought extremely hard against all odds to make this miraculous recovery. Today Pakistan has started breathing again and guess who is back to make an attractive offer? For once we have a government, an army and a judiciary that is in sync and working for the best interest of the nation. The economy has taken a terrible dent in the past decade or so. The new government is serious in reviving the economy and the society as a whole. We cannot let this snake spoil our recovery.

Pakistan should work closely with China, Russia and Iran to find a suitable solution to Afghanistan. The US doesn't figure in any of this.

People keep saying the Americans will pull out. I still believe they will not. They have invested too much to pull out. Just look at Iraq, they might have pulled out, but, look at them now, they are back in. In Afghanistan case, they cannot pull out. they are close to China and Iran and Pakistan and Russia. Perfectly placed and they will want to keep it. The amount of money and resources they can extract from Afghanistan is way too much for them to lose it all. puling out will not suite there game.
Pakistan needs to fence there border, i said that long long time back, as far as refugees are concerned they need to go back but in a civilized manner, after all they will be going back next door not a 1000 miles away hence we need to do it properly and not have them upset. the ones that have businesses here for a long time need to be mainstreamed(citizens) and taxed after a thorough background check. For the US to start talking about Pakistan being a part of the solution and for them to let us take the lead means they are willing to give our plan a shot. but we should include other countries(Germany, Norway, Sweden, Britain) who are also in Afghanistan to be a part of the plan so that the US cannot ruin our plan, and if they do, the other countries will know that it was the US that made our plan fail. It has to be done very delicately. Obviously in no way should we kill or harm the Taliban in any way for the Americans, Haqqanis are here to stay and we should not hand them over. We have the US on our side now and we should get what we want. We should not in any way break of our relations with the US and also we should not let the US interfere in our relations with Iran, China & Russia.
If in-fact we are leading the game right now, we should make sure we succeed, even if that means slapping the Taliban on the back of the head.
When the cat gets the mouse within the reach of his paws, usually he starts playing with it before devouring it...
I hope in this case, Pakistan is the cat and the US in the mouse :)

Because that will mean the amount of F-16's PAF is looking for and the Zulus the army wants.

The biggest problem is steadily snowballing inside the USA!!!! Gone are the days of President Bush Sr like statesmen surrounded by closely knit and loyal bunch of astute policy makers, leaders, experts etc. with vast knowledge and wide range of connections across the globe!!! And, all were tirelessly working to glorify the Empire!!!! And, now!!! Well, the less said the better.....

These are the parts of the "dooms day" scenarios discussed at the heated "board rooms" inside the Pentagon...

russia works with iran we work with russia :) .
.
.
we should make ways for russia to intervene as much as possible .
It's in the human nature!!! When you have tons of suitors all folks rush to you...

No wonder the entire Hindu/Jain/Parsi etc. game plan revolved around "isolating" Pak....
