Afghan boy with deadly cancer off to Pakistan for specialized care

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan (CP) - An Afghan boy who is likely dying from cancer will live his final days with a bit more comfort, thanks to Canadian soldiers and an Edmonton church.

Namatullah, a six year old boy with a massive cancerous growth on his face, is on his way to Pakistan with his father and grandfather for treatment that will be funded by church donations. The boy and his grandfather came to the Canadian provincial

reconstruction team site in Kandahar looking for treatment on the weekend.

Cpl. Brian Sanders, an ambulance driver at the camp, was touched by the boy's condition and asked his church for help so the boy could have proper care in a specialized hospital in Pakistan.

The North Edmonton Christian Fellowship church raised $10,000 in a day and money is still flowing in.

The Canadian doctor at the camp said he is still holding out a

small hope that the boy can be saved.

What are you trying to show off with this article? Are you saying that Pakistans medical edge is much better than Afghanistans, well it is. Now compare Pakistans medical with of the Indias. Lots of Pakistanis goes to India for medical treatment, but then does Pakistani medical becomes inferior to you? No. Exactly, they in Afghanistan probably had their own difficulties thats why they couldn't find a doctor or they thought it was better to go to Pakistan, maybe they didn't want to risk it. HAH!
