For Pakistan its a stupid policy to support those who don't accept the international border. Instead should be supporting those who recognise it, and want to live as peaceful neighbours.

To support those in Afghanistan who accept Durand line as international boundary will be suicidal for your supported group as It will find no support base among local population and hence will be an alien to local politics and society.

Plenty of groups/people if you do your research but Pakistan heavily supports the Taliban whom don't tolerate any opposition. Pakistan is responsible for this.

To support those in Afghanistan who accept Durand line as international boundary will be suicidal for your supported group as It will find no support base among local population and hence will be an alien to local politics and society.

But it will be beneficial for Pakistan if the international border is recognised. Pakistan doesn't want any land from Afghanistan so the border should become peaceful. TTP and co will slowly die as they won't have any genuine cause anymore. Dont forget many big groups in Pakistan also don't recognise the border because that is what makes them powerful, they have allies on both sides so have connections to influence the policy.

Durand line is non issue for Pakistan simply because it's an accepted border internationally and even by govt of Afghanistan previously

Pakistan supported Taliban to kick out Indians from Afghanistan which has worked. Durand line is also less porous than ever.

That strategic depth kinda understanding gave us probably the harshest lesson ever. Only if we are ready to learn....Afghanistan is just a neighbour which has looooongggggg way to evolve for some better future...till than it will remain migraine for the entire region.

Abdalis should not take back muslims , unless pakistan takes back Indian and bihari muslims living India and bangladesh , pakistan was created for muslims of India .

Pakistan was made for muslims demanded by muslims of India , all Indian muslims of India and biharis of bangladesh should be accommodated in Pakistan first , then only Abdalis should leave pakistan . Although half of pakistan belongs to Abdalis. So there is no need for abdali to leave pakistan .

LOL I am loving it how the United States is remaining dead silent on this one. Are the Americans and Europeans going to save their translators? Remember that the US promised many of these Afghan refugees citizenship in their own country. Pakistan was supposed to be a temporary station.
