Service members who have seen this plane in action providing crucial CAS will always say its one of a kind. And that it is. Built for 1 mission objective that it has done well since 1972.

The entire platform was designed around 1 thing, providing CAS with the one and only the 30 mm Gatling Cannon.

Nice, how do you feel about the A-10 getting replaced by the F-35?

well you have got to love the vision that the F35 represents, it is another classic designs by the Americans who have a proud aviation history of producing both functional but beautiful jets, From the Mustang to the F22 raptor there is a long line of death delivered by beauty. The A-10 does not have the beauty of the F16 or the F15 but it has a rugged great looks. If the Americans don't want them, maybe they can hand them down to us. We'd love to have 3/4 squadrons lighting up the TTP's *****.
