Are the ancient Hindu myths of a land bridge connecting India and Sri Lanka true? Scientific analysi

It's not really ancient Hindu myths when the land bridge was recorded in many sources, including European ones, to have existed as late as a few hundred years ago

What are your opinions in keeping this area fully untouched as an eco conservation zone?

It is already a conservation zone in Sri Lanka. Not many people go in to the shoals. The biggest problem is of course from the fisherman. Though there is a navy detachment in Mannar island and they are overseeing the development in the area.

This is RAM setu that appears in hindu holy Book Ramayana built by Ram to reach Ravan's Lanka to rescue to his wife Sita .

I suppose myth are based on some information, although by manipulating original information. Information available is giving us hypothesis Bridge or something to that effect must have been in distant past.

Myth or no myth the structure is quite hold and make interesting study , so need to be preserved

Hardly unreasonable given that Sri Lanka broke away from the Indian landmass . Basic science.... should not be a point of debate.
