I have seen a simmilar Turret on the type 98 and on the new al zarrar upgrade.
(no not the era covered one)

as you can see on this pic.

The drivers hatch is somewhat offset to the right if one is facing the front of the tank.

on that pic of al khalid that you are calling al zarrar the drivers hatch is evenly in the middle.

I think Paakistan got ahold of a new turret and decided to mount in in
the al-khalid,the al zarrar,t-85.

It would be logical that Ukraine helped you as they are also helping china with a common turret with different ring diameters.
 
Al-Zarrar is almost a different tank, the tank was upgraded on T-55, but most of the things were upgraded to the modern standard. In that case the hull was most likely changed due to make the tank more better and efficient, and give a stronger armour on the front.
