After a serious reign of terrorism in 3 provinces of the country it was expected that the only province which was not targeted so far was Sindh, but was on the list of those extremists who kept saying that they will target the province Specially Karachi which is considered to be the economical hub of the country. On the other hand the administration of the province never tooked these threats seriously and on every platform CM and interior minister Zulfiqar Mirza were having a same stance regarding terrorism in the Province.

On 26 and 27th Decmber, Mr. Mirza gave two statements regarding law and order in sindh and said that "there is no clue of Talibanization in the Province". And just within 48 hours his all assurances were proved untrue, but once again it was too late, when around fifty people were martyred and 120 injured in the suicide bomb blast during the major Muharram procession near Light House Area on M.A. Jinnah road in the city of Karachi. It was a suicide bomb resembling the bombings which occured on the other parts of the country, of which Talibans have been claimed the responsilibities time to time.

The city on such sensitive days required the valid and responsible administrative majors by the provinial government, but all the concentrations were towards 'Nodero' and no officials of Provincial administration were paying their attention towards the Moharram Procession. Not only this, but idleness and inactive behavior of the officials continued after 2 blasts in 2 days in the city which gave a hint of some serious terrorist attack on the bigger March.
No doubt it is the moment of grief and sorrow but we need to realize the failure and miscarriage of situation by our CM and interior Minister which allowed the terrorists to build their Network in the City. And now it is observed that Terrorists have their control all over the country. People of Pakistan have to do something on their own now, as this government have a lack of courage to fight with extremists.

My friend, we cannot get rid of it by not admitting their presence in the province.
We must realize, and try to trace their hideouts in the City. Yes it is difficult, but its never impossible if you are serious towards your duty !

InshaAllah we will overcome this crucial time period !

A spokesman for the paramilitary Rangers said one of their members died as he pinned down the suicide bomber, claiming that otherwise the blast would have inflicted far more casualties.

"Our soldier Abdul Razzaq spotted the suicide bomber and jumped on him and both fell to the road after which the bomber exploded himself," spokesman Major Mohammad Aurangzeb told AFP.

I think RM should be removed, some people are really incapable, he seems to be one of them.

Any threat or action should be taken seriously these days as we can not sleep while our people die and our land breaks apart from the se cowards i hope we kill them all and clean them out of land once and for all GOD bless.

i don't want to blame any one but lack of co-ordination and hostile behavior of PPP towards our Army and Intelligence is not good. What ever our Army and ISI does is for our betterment and in the favor of nation but sadly we have been seeing hostile attacks from zulfiqar mirza towards our Army and establishment and it is leading towards lack of co-ordination

Agreed there has been a lapse in intelligence but one has to give credit to the sindh interior ministry of preventing such attacks in the past... a lot of police had been deployed along with the Rangers, the army on stand-by...

(just for the record, the Sindh interior minister is a Shia as well!)

what's your point!

and hey welcome back!:hitwall:

Very difficult to pin point suicide bombers among thousands of people, certainly better stretegy should be put into practice by Pak Government. Since it is not the question of Governing authorities of the region to be responsible for such unintruppted explosion.
