Researchers at the Large Hadron Collider just recently started testing the accelerator for running at the higher energy of 13 TeV, and already they have found new insights into the fundamental structure of the universe. Though four fundamental forces – the strong force, the weak force, the electromagnetic force and gravity – have been well documented and confirmed in experiments over the years, CERN announced today the first unequivocal evidence for the Force. “Very impressive, this result is,” said a diminutive green spokesperson for the laboratory.

I believe these are just to keep jobs.. and nothing else. They can never find anything... because what they are looking for cannot be explained mathematically. They should have known, if they could simply put anger, love , fear, pain in mathematical model... when these feelings cannot be explained in equations, forget God.

Math is the language of the universe. If humans can deeply understand structure of the smallest molecule to the point of manipulation then anything is possible.

Ego is just a function of an object. What if quantum physics is able to break down this object to the smallest element and change it so the object always has ego or no ego? Wouldn't that be an accomplishment rather than simply explaining ego? You are right, some things are impossible to break down.

No its a state or function or property or whatever. The object or person with this action can be explained with quantum physics and properties can be manipulated. Thats what they're aiming for with LHC and it makes sense. Might take a long time but vast and grand structures will be built off the back of research from this place. Its very important for humanity.
