my initial 'take' is that the US-VP didnt get what he came for !

the 'mullahs' dont seem to be 'too happy'!

^^ Probably not happy to follow the 'un-Islamic' tradition of eating with fork and knife.

I see from the pics the workaholic is finallly getting some rest..

Back when he was GOC Murree..
He would work from 9 to 3...then .. play golf till 6.. and back to work from 7 to 10..

He is big on automation.. wants to know what it costs him for a truck to move one man from Pindi to a Fob in KP..
And its him that will check the figures..
This is a man that likes to adjust the colors of the projector himself..(literally..takes the remote and does it)..
He has lost a little support these days due to unpopular promotions of some..

But for all that..
the PA is literally being pushed into the 21st century by him..

To me sometimes it seems as if he's surfing PDF (or some other forum) himself - he's an http guy (note the missing www).

Looking through this thread.. it seems the COAS is finally making the move to cement the co-ordination between the PA and PAF..
This PA will know the limitations of the PAF..and this PAF would be able to tell a T-90S from a T-80UD..
and.. the comsec between the grunts on the ground..and the pilots in the air... will never have been stronger and more unbreakable ;)

the next chief!

the next chief!

May be,May be not. He had (still has) an excellent career from the start ( some unique events happened along the way like the one during his days in infantry school. :) ). While i will not go into detail but he disagreed with some of the policies of the spooks during his IGFC days (according to a course mate of his). This did some damage to him.

Personally, i would like to see him as the next chief.
