U seemed to have forgotten that Sino-Laos relationship have normalized since 1989 and Kaysone Phomvihane spent his holidays in China instead of Russia in 1991. Gradually over time Laos became closer to China and now Thailand and gradually weakening its indepence on Vietnam. They will eventually only look at you as a last resort money cow, but problem is, Vietnam has now money. It will be too heavily indebted

Phomvihane was born Nguyen Cai Song[1] to a Vietnamese father named Nguyen Tri Loan, and a Laotian mother named Nang Dok. He had two sisters: Nang Souvanthong, living in Thailand, and Nang Kongmany in the USA.[2] He was born in Na Seng village, Khanthabouli district (now Kaysone Phomvihane District, Savannakhet Province), Laos. He had one brother and one sister.

Phomvihane attended law school at Hanoi University in Hanoi, Vietnam. He dropped out of law school to fight the French colonialists who were in Vietnam. Later, he joined the Pathet Lao, which was also fighting the French colonialists.

Yet he normalized relations with China even when Vietnam hates us so much? What a great guy, glad he managed to wake up prior to his death. Relationships between China-Thailand-Laos are getting stronger by the day now, all thanks to him. If Vietnam wants them to remain to be your die hard ally, then you must make sure you keep up to date with your loan repayments and manage your economy well. When you cannot look after yourselves, they will not see you as a dependable ally whom they can fall back on to for financial assistance. Try digest that and if that is too much, maybe your local hospital can help you with a prescription or two
