The Chinese company DJI which manufactured the drone that was taken down by Pakistan said that the drones were not sold to any government bodies.

DJI in a statement given to Delhi-based English daily said that the drone is meant for weddings, films and other commercial events only.

“We do not sell directly to government bodies, though it is possible for them to buy from our website or via local sellers. DJI is focused on the creative and innovative uses of drones. We are proud that our products have been used for a wide range of applications including film making, agriculture, wedding photography, real estate, firefighting and search and rescue… That said, military and security applications are not a focus for us,” Spokesperson for DJI, Micheal Perry said.

There are only two authorized dealers Mayank Chachra and Ameet Nichani selling DJI’s products and both of them said that the Indian Army never approached them for buying a drone.

According to Mayank whose based in Delhi suggested that the drone was just a ‘toy’ and its specs is not suitable for military operations. Its total battery life is just 15 minutes and has a line-of-sight range of 200-300 metres.

Pakistan summoned the Indian envoy yesterday to Foreign Office claiming violation of its territory by an alleged Indian "spy" drone which was being used for aerial photography near the Line of Control (LoC).

The Indian Army as well as the Indian Air Force, however, denied that any of their drone has been shot down or crashed.

As usual Pakistani propaganda is falling apart.

Not only the said drone was never sold to any Indian government agency, it has only 200-300 meter range.

Pakistani "Mujahids" should look before they shoot...Probably belonged to some Pakistani kid .

maybe its the time that the pakistani govt stopped fooling its people. The thing is, you shot down your own police surveillance device. India never uses such toys for spying.

All available pics of this supposed downed drone do not show any signs of bullet impact.

For all we know, they could just placed this drone on these twigs and claim to have shot down an Indian drone

Another thing to note is after the initial pic which got leaked to the media, Pakistan government never bothered to release another pic of the downed "Indian" drone.

When Searcher was shot down in 2002, Pakistani govt, released flurry of pictures, placed the wreckcage on display for all media to see.

But now nothing, did they realize their mistake??

Alas the damage was done, their jig was up after that first pic got leaked!

Its a drone available to everybody. Indian army can buy off the shelf, even you can.

So Pak Govt got so worked up for a chinese toy whose battery lasts not more than 15 minutes ?? and even summoned the Indian high comissioner ?:rofl: next what going to UN with this evidence ??:rofl::rofl::rofl:

They even showed broken branches to make it look more authentic.

Indian operated drone shot down. Now Indians masturbate themselves from humiliation. China should sanction India for buying our drones for non-peaceful purposes.
