Some good steps are being taken but they need to be consistent. This 'crackdown' needs to be enforced uniformly and made a law that is to be enforced indefinitely.

Also, what qualifies as hate material needs to be clearly defined. There need to be degrees of offense, ranging from hate material, instigating material and terrorist material, with clear and well-defined penalties for each of these.

I can almost hear the alarm bells ringing 24/7 in the R&AW headquarters.
All that effort being shat down in the substandard sewers of Quetta.
Feels good.

start with respective provincial text book boards ie : sind , punjab , sarhad and baluchistan

What about hate speech against Ahmadis? Is it likely to stop any-time soon?

Why are there only police reports and no eyewitness accounts?

Hate speech against Ahmadis is still kosher. Look at Amir Liaquat for example, all this talk of clamping down on hate speech while NS darling the Geo channel continues to bark against Pakistanis giving fatwas of death. Nothing will happen, this is for just show.

The journalists saw it themselves, why do you want them to go around pestering eyewitnesses?

The Geo channel apologized for it - well, not enough, but at least it shows that there was a considerable outcry against it, forcing them to apologize

Don't the opinions of the public count? You're denying your fellow citizens the opportunity to both criticize and support the actions of the police and FC.

How does eyewitness accounts have anything to do with public opinions? You didn't ask for public opinions, you asked for 'eyewitness accounts'.

Don't move the goalposts like that - I'm not denying anyone anything. They can go and criticize or support whoever they want to, however they want to. The action was taken BECAUSE of public opinion in the first place.
