Defense Budget

Salam to Muslims and "Hi" to Non-Muslims,

In the presence of enough amount of nukes and the enough military personnel to develop, sustain and deliver them, why can't we cut down our defence budget drastically? It will be better to focus more on the infrastructure development within Pakistan instead of making those arms-producing commercial organizations worldwide more and more profitable. What do you think?

Or if that kind of drastic cuts are not possible from "any" point of view, how about stopping the current focus on fighting someone else' war and order such a huge military to build roads, bridges, hospitals, schools, railway lines and other infrastructure not only essential for military but for general public as well?

just wondering... cause if a countries like Switzerland can survive and thrive without much big military, then why not Pakistan? Now, pls. save your "fragile" place of Pakistan due to geo-political BS and give me some realistic and practical defense budget cuts or other national development plans that Pakistan Defense Forces could adopt? Today's average Pakistani is committing more suicides than in 90's. Hence eating grass but making nukes formula is out of window now, being obsolete. India won't want to become another Iraq by invading Pakistan if it decides to shred its major expensive military infrastructure (minus the capability to nuke every major city of the world).

Well they can india aint going to attack any one nor it has ever done reduce the no of personals from indo pak border send them to fight terror groups withen the country
