sniper need time and balance drone flying in air cant be sniper
Useless thread, inductions of guns on drones is as stupid as anything as of yet. The above video clearly display, how scattered and unstable the bursts are while firing, hence could lead to possible collateral damage as well. The technology need to resolve the stability issue at first or perhaps evolve into induction of guided bullets to achieve the accuracy.

it could be done if you have a relatively stable platform and some powered gimbal to keep it on target. Snipers have successfully shot from helicopters.

Accuracy is still a concern
at this fire rate .. there are no issues
the platform is very stable even though its not designed for such function. if a much robust platform is designed with stronger chessie then it can do wonders.

Unless it has a gun stabilizer added to it---just like in the tanks.
yea maybe in the future when the platform will be much more stable to absorb the recoil and the turbulence for a steady aim. it will happen one day for sure but for now the AOE of the missile takes care of the accuracy part.
maybe grenade launcher will be a good option giving a good mix of cheaper and more fire rate than individual missiles.

Or a gatling gun firing DU rounds to take tanks out. That should be fun. Possibly 4-6 hellfire type missiles and a 30mm gattling gun. All on an expendable platform guided by a far off remote radar. That is a mercenary wet dream.

Thing is quite scary as far as safety concerns specifically the way it stalls.
