They hv no proof. All they want is to hv some fun over 18 dead souls. Hooe this news has made their day.

The chief did say that the ship can be repaired and made operational as it sank in the port and not the sea....so they will have to check the nature of the damage and see..but that was the news.

A difficult preposition, more likely to be a morale booster. If not technically impossible, am sure reviving a ship that was subject to more than one massive internal explosion, remained in fire for hours and sunk, is economically not viable. It's better to go for brand new ship.

Very Sad incident. My condolence to the victims of this tragedy.

What is the status of the second submarine which is parked besides sindhurakshak (infact five to six metres). I have read in one of the news that the blast occur at 12:05 and the fire brigades arrive at the scene at 12:30. And the blast also occur at the frontal section of the boat where torpedoes are housed. If one considers the time interval between the blast and the removing of the second submarine to safety isn't it safe to assume that the second submarine would also have taken considerable amount of damage.

INDIAN NAVY SCANDAL, WIFE-SWAPPING WITH FORCE |INDIA NEWS NETWORK

You are wrong. It's well documented that Indian Navy lacks professionalism and discipline. Just couple years ago US had a naval officers exchange program with India. The reports they wrote afterward were pretty damning on the low level of professionalism among Indian naval ranks. Danger maneuver among ships, carelessness to equipments, ignoring proper procedures and routines, disregard of safety precaution, failure of equipments, terrible living condition and food, low level or lack of training. People wore sandals on duty, where steel-toed boots are the standard. Officers didn't know how to operate equipments. "Servants" were brought on board. There were so many things wrong that they were not sure whether their ships could actually fire shots at battle.

No matter how much lipstick you put on a pig, you can't make it prettier. This sub explosion is just the tip of the iceberg.

Meanwhile, seven Russian specialists, who had worked on the submarine earlier were reported to be “safe and sound“.

“All the seven Russian specialists — five Zvyozdochka employees and two from partner companies who had serviced the submarine are safe and sound. They were in a hotel when the accident occurred,” spokesperson for Zvyozdochka, Sherbinina said.

All utter BS. This nonsense appeared on Reddit and At the time this was refuted by an ex-IN officer and the rubbish was subsequently taken down from Reddit as it was all lies.

The entire Indian military is a professional as any Western navy if not more so.

Coming from a women who was then arrested for fraud? It seems these were all malicious lies.

Inter-Services Intelligence Mujahideen Zindabad.

I would say this is pure revenge for the two P3C Orions of Pakistan Navy that were destroyed in 2011.

Alhamdu'lillah Aza'Wa-Jall, what a beautiful news on Pakistan's Independence Day.

Don't let blind nationalism prevent you from taking a rational stance. Those sailors have done no harm to you.

any of them survived?

May the ones who died rest in peace, and God help the families of the victims with patience and patience only.

can u pls share the official link? Most of the things written above are very common perceptions of western ppl when they visit Asian counter parts...problem is, western countries think- the way they do things, is the right way of doing it..they are not ready to accept the reality and change in life around them.....there had been many mishaps in US and Russia...so does that mean they are very ignorant, careless, lacks training or they are unprofessional...if yes, then they don’t need to preach others!
