KARACHI: Two people were killed in separate firing incidents on Wednesday.
A 40-year-old man, Hafiz Sajjad, son of Nawaz, was gunned by unidentified armed men near Usman Ghani Masjid, Vita Chowrangi Korangi Town, within the remit of Korangi Industrial Area police station.
The body was moved to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.
Police said victim received two bullets on upper torso and died before he could be taken to hospital.
Separately, the 26-year-old Hanif, son of Fareed was killed in firing by unknown assailants at Akbar Road, Sher Shah, within the jurisdiction of Sher Shah police station.
Police said victim received four bullets and died on spot.
The body was shifted Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy.
