Pakistan is incredible for trekking. I have done major treks in Nepal like Annapurna base camp but Pakistan is unique in the fact it's not developed for tourists and there lies the beauty. Development changes people and landscape. I pray tourists don't come to Pakistan although this year it's a top destination. Snow lake is a toughtough hike

In the first picture check out my nose. Sun burnt.
2nd picture is live lunch. The goatvwas sleeping took one look at me got bored and went back to sleep.

Preaching to the choir. I've virtually spent half my life running up and down those slopes.

I've also been through the Alps and the Canadian Rockies a little......meh.....mere hills. How did you get to Nepal?

broghil is one of the beautiful places of pakistan sad its people even dont have basic necessitates and are one of the poorest regions of Pakistan.

The remoteness of their land has played a major part in it. Hopefully, tourism will soon turn their luck, as it did for the Hushe valley. But then, Hushe was fortunate enough to be on the way back for all those climber's coming over Gondogoro La after attempts on the very many sought after summits around the Baltoro. Maybe once the Gilgit Chitral road is made better.

Or more appropriately, Hispar La.

Nepal is easy to get to and very tourist friendly

The wonders and beauty of our country is undeniable. Some of the most magnificent glaciers in the entire world are present here. Glaciers are a large persistent body of ice which hold most of the Earth’s fresh water resources. With global warming on the the rise, the life of these glaciers is not indefinite. Make time to see them before they vanish completely.

1. Baltoro Glacier

The glacier at 63km in length is one of the largest land glaciers on Earth. It can be accessed through Gilgit-Baltistan region. The glacier gives rise to the Shigar River.

2. Batura Glacier

At 53 km in length, the Batura Glacier is up there with the biggest in the world. It lies in the Batura Valley in the Gojal region of Gilgit Baltistan.

3. Biafo Glacier

The Biago Glacier is 67 kms long and the third biggest land glacier in the entire world. Mango, Baintha and Namla are campsites set up near the glacier and can be accessed through the Askole Village of Gilgit-Baltistan.

4. Panmah Glacier

Located in the Central Karakoram National Park, Gilgit-Baltistan, the Panmah Glacier needs to be seen to be believed. The mud you see is actually a debris laden glacier!

5. Rupal Glacier

It is the source of the Rupal River and lies in the Great Himalayas. It is South of the Nanga Parbat and North of Laila Peak.
