Goodbye Tolerance: Yoga opponents should go to Pakistan, Sadhvi Prachi says

1) It is not just about Hindus and Muslims, there are countless other minorities living in India with a lot of different religions.

2) How can you be tolerant to other minorities, if you force them to do something per constitution, which your religion promotes but their religion does not allow. And still call yourself secular?

The whole world accepted yoga the question of majority minority diminishes. They don't have problem :)

C'mon man say that thing again: It will not be forced ..., but it will be forced....

That was too damn hilarious....:rofl:

Slokas or not, you want to have Yoga enforced on schools per constitution. All the school kids are obliged to perform Yoga. How can you force something on someone, which is not allowed in their religion?

PS: As wrote earlier, I have nothing against Yoga, TaiChi (big fan of it), Budhist meditation etc. My beef is just with the enforcement of Yoga per constitution on her people in a country, which calls herself "secular".
Ok so lying again. as usual you have no substance. schools will be forced to promote but children can have a choice. Just like schol is forced to promote Bengali here but children can opt for english . But you are lying. So as a pakistani liar you will be in my ignore list.

The whole world accepted yoga through UN, the question of majority minority diminishes.
he is a liar. when he did not got any point he starts laughing. he is trolling on his own thread

Really? So what are sikhs demanding justice for till date? What about the drug infested teens/farmers killing themselves? Can I ask what the capital of Indian Punjab is? :angel:
Pakistanis from all walks of lives have lost their lives in last decade to terrorists, we shall overcome terrorism soon, you worry about your own problems :)

There are probably more Pakistanis demanding freedom from pakistan than all of sikhs. :lol:

Don't worry, we shall reclaim our land upto attock and make Lahore our capital. You shall be spared the daily massacres by your fellow Muslims under Akal Takht.

Not all the children are forced to do. But school will will be forced to promote yoga as a subject.

The whole world accepted Yoga through UN to be enforced on every school child, regardless of whether his/her religion allows it or not? Because that was the argument that we were having.

If true, that will be very interesting.

Can you point me to the UN resolution where it says that every school child is obliged to do Yoga?

Recognizing that yoga provides a holistic approach to health and well-being,

Recognizing also that wider dissemination of information about the benefits of practising yoga would be beneficial for the health of the world population,

1. Decides to proclaim 21 June the International Day of Yoga;

2. Invites all Member and observer States, the organizations of the United Nations system and other international and regional organizations, as well as civil society, including non-governmental organizations and individuals, to observe the International Day of Yoga, in an appropriate manner and in accordance with national priorities, in order to raise awareness of the benefits of practising yoga;

3. Stresses that the cost of all activities that may arise from the implementation of the present resolution should be met from voluntary contributions;

4. Requests the Secretary-General to bring the present resolution to the attention of all Member and observer States and the organizations of the United Nations system.

Now imagine a Pakistani minister or politician saying that that who don't pray(namaz) can go to India.

So nothing forced on the school children. Everything is volunteer as it should be.

No problem with that resolution.

But to alter your constitution to force it on school children even if their religion does not allow it is plain wrong for a country claims to be secular.

In that case we should also ban convent schools where muslim children go and read bibles, which is compulsory. No one is forcing Muslims to do yoga. If they think they are forced, then they should change the school or complaint. Simple.

Plus India is has Hindu majority and we cannot stop following our culture for merely 170Million. When we can believe and celebrate eid with Muslims , who the hell muslims are that they are so superior and cannot celebrate Diwali with us.

India is not Pakistan! We are not here to create divide but unite.

...

So you want to amend your constitution to make Yoga mandatory in Hindu schools?

Or you want to make it mandatory in every school?

Yoga will be mandatory. And Deoband has said they don't have problems till slokas are not enforced.

And for you
If some one is so much religious and intolerant that he cannot do yoga he should also leave the society because there people are non Muslims and he will encounter Bhajans, Carols and Kirtans in every 100meter which is also against islam.

Then why not make it volunteer?

Why shove it down the throats of everyone, whether they want it or not.

It is like making something beutiful as Valentine's day completely controversial by putting it as "mandatory for everyone to celebrate" in the constitution.

we will leave them to people of India to decide. If they are benefited with yoga they will do every day irrespective of any religion. Our point was to introduce it, once people see benefits they will do it ;)
And I don't think Yoga is haram in islam. Does it say ?

There are lots of things haram in Islam, even Music is haram, but Atif Aslam, Shehzad Roya, Khan, etc sing .. why?
