HAL to hand over 2 Rudra choppers to Army at Aero India

Rudra can carry
...48 70mm rockets...
...Fire and forget anti-tank guided missiles...
...four air to air missiles.

IA should have gone with the same LAHAT missiles, that they use with MBTs, instead of integrating heavy ATGMs in lower numbers to Rudra. That should be more effective in the fire support role:

Even when last time one of the test chopper when landed on roof of a house near my office, i saw it from office meeting room

@Abingdonboy why only 2??? what is the production rate for these of HAL??

+ there are currently 2 attack helos in prototypes by HAL - rudra & LCH right??

These are the first 2 fully kitted out ALH WSI that are being handed over for the IA to play with. Others will follow later. Production rate is bound to start small but naturally will increase over time.

+yep just the ALH WSI and LCH- did you expect more??!

On GC, right-click:open image in new tab, copy,paste!

whats GC?..........

OK got

a better way is trying to drag image which results in its url appearing in upper bar of Google chrome

after that press enter GC will lead to a full image.

then it is possible to copy URL.
