ISLAMABAD: HEC Scholar from North Waziristan Agency Qudratullah has clinched gold medal in M.Phil (Veterinary Clinical Medicine and Surgery) from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad.

Qudratullah was selected for postgraduate scholarship programme under HEC project Provision of Higher Education opportunities for students of Balochistan and FATA in 2008, said a press release.

He successfully completed his M.Phil studies and obtained 3.99/4.00 CGPA. He has also received the Certificate of Honor by the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences.

It is very difficult not only for me but for every student belonging to poor or middle class families to get higher education in a country where education has become too expensive, says Qudratullah.

He said that such opportunity is an important step to resolve the crisis of less privileged areas specially the war affected FATA areas by educating their youth.

It is not an international achievement, so hardly anyone will read it. But it tells us that not only terrorists, but normal people too live in North Waziristan.

Above all, however small this news may be, at least it is authentic. I hope the achievement of this kid is glorified in his hometown so that others too may find some reason to pursue higher education.

in fact more normal people live there and few bastards as every corner on earth .
