What's new

Idea of India wasn’t demolished at Ayodhya. That happened in our ‘liberal’ homes

Muslims take their religion seriously, more seriously than, in your opinion, or in the opinion of many others, including myself, they should.

Well, "Islamic religion" in the practice of modern Muslims, especially many Indian Muslims, is different than what Islam is in origin i.e. a progressive socio-economic movement. The oppressive burqas and mustacheless-beards seen commonly now in India weren't mostly present 15 to 20 years ago.

About True Islam, take this thread of mine about an Indian Christian woman marrying her Indian Muslim husband under Muslim marriage law because it will give her better socio-economic security. Or Muslims on the correct path take this thread of mine about individual Muslims or Muslim-majority societies dabbling with modern socialist activism since the start of the 1900s. Four of the founders of the Communist Party of India were Muslims. It is disappointing to me to now see many Muslims marching under "Hijab is not my compulsion, it is my pride" or the Tablighi Jamaatis.

Although the Communists have a thousand crimes against their name, I am forced to admit that they are one of only two segments that are truly secular; religion never came in the way, and it was utterly irrelevant to them. I remember listening to Muzaffar Ahmed in Nihar Ranjan Ray's apartment, along with a small but illustrious gathering (oddly enough, Nihar Ranjan Ray was himself strongly opposed to the Communists).

1. Strong and least corrupt opposition
2. UCC
3. No appeasement

And most important REAL SECULARISM... WITHOUT THAT you might see Yogi Adityanath as next PM...

Yogi is already earmarked for PMship if Modi fails to implement the Presidential system

Any Wikipedia page about him ?

LOL. Meerut Conspiracy Case. He came there as a Communist.

The organiser of these sittings was my father's old professor, Susobhan Sarkar, Shipra and Sumit's father, who was kind to me for my father's sake (my father was the only one not an illustrious historian who was asked to contribute to his festschrift. @Indus Pakistan will roll on the floor laughing if I tell you what that contribution was).

@Joe Shearer

Please don't blame liberals for the wrong doings of PEACEFULS...

Other religions are open for joke and humor... on the name of FREEDOM OF SPEECH... but head would be chopped off, public property would be burned down to ashes, riots would be programmed and innocent would be killed... If, you know...

Example...
https://khabar.ndtv.com/news/india/...relative-of-congress-mla-in-bengaluru-2278053

Hindus fought a legal case... won... and now construction is started... DEMOCRATIC AND CONSTITUTIONAL WAY...

Who gave space to BJP... extreme appeasement of PEACEFULS by opposition... one of the main reasons...

The "extreme appeasement" is so effective that in the last 70 years, that Muslims have lagged behind the rest of the country on every socio-economic indicator. In other areas such as political and governmental representation, Muslims are under represented.

It is amazing that this is the result of "extreme appeasement" that leads Hindus to vote for fascists like the BJP.

So what does that tell us? Hindus like you were not satisfied by the reducing of Muslims to the status of neo-dalits. They voted for the BJP to ensure that the Final Solution is enacted.

Meerut Conspiracy Case.

From the Wikipedia page about that :
The main charges were that in 1921 S.A. Dange, Shaukat Usmani and Muzaffar Ahmed entered into a conspiracy to establish a branch of the Comintern in India
That is the norm even today in India. Those intellectuals branded as "Urban Naxals" and jailed.

Still stuck at page 6, will get back to you on it when I can @ps3linux

@Moonlight I finished your paper you gave us, it was quite great to read it, thank you. Hope your govt takes heed of such good well meaning and well thought out scholars in education...especially its reform and progress with such fundamental things as textbooks and curricula structure.
