IMF approves $1.39bn in COVID-19 aid for Pakistan

Just divide by 6............. you will get the real answer because India is almost 6 times more populated then Pakistan.

And just a look for Pakistan status during 1980s (When you were support USA against Soviet) and then again from 2000 to 2020... you will get the real picture.

India situation was not good before 1990.. economy reforms happened in India from then only situations are getting improve.

India was ranked 102 in the 2019 Global Hunger Index (GHI), much below its neighbours Pakistan (94), Bangladesh (88), Sri Lanka (66), Nepal (73) and China (25). The GHI, which was released on Tuesday, noted that “India suffers from a level of hunger that is serious”.Oct 15, 2019

As I said: It is useless to compare....
example: US AID (1947-2012)

India received $ 65.1 billion in economic assistance
Israel, received $ 65 billion.
Pakistan, which received $ 44.4 billion + $12.9 billion in military assistance

But considering Israel’s population is less than 10 million compared to India’s 1.2 billion-plus the Jewish state has received 100 times more aid per capita than India.

Pakistan, which received $ 44.4 + 12.9 billion (Military) for a population one-sixth of India’s.

Also, AID depends on your relationship (Below is a example of good relationship with US)

Indian economic condition vis-a-vis foreign reserves, touching 500 billion USD, higher GDP, large manufacturing compared to Pakistan hasn't translated into relieving multi dimensional poverty, hasn't helped the poor masses in crores.

It does helped the big conglomerates like Ambanis, Adanis, Birla and all the vestiges of chronic capitalist class, the sudden huge rise of Indian billionaires...hasn't translated into sudden decrease of India poor in crores..something is intrinsically wrong in India, the distribution of wealth.

Very filthy rich(a few of them) vs. very poor masses(in crores).

Due to 6 times more populated...that is very simple calculation.

Even being 6 times smaller (populated) country rank is 94, so you need to also look into yourself. It is useless to compare with 6 times more populated country.

No this is not about absolute number of poor people..it is about the percentile, the percentage of poor people with respect to the total population.

China rank is 25 here, India is 102th, with a similar population, higher in fact for China.

You guys are engaging in pointless debates. It is undeniable that India and Bangladesh have a higher percentage of people dealing with "extreme poverty" then in Pakistan. It is also true that over the last 10 years India and Bangladesh have done better in many economic metrics. However, that does not mean this trend will continue....Pakistan is in position to start performing much better in economic metrics in the future 10 years.

This is shameful. None of it will even reach the poor but used to feed the bellies of elites.

Yes, challenges are there. but you have look at both sides of coin as well.

These billionaires are investigating in India and industries. Therefore, poor people are getting job and feeding to their families.

You need such a people in your country as well, being these billionaires do not only harmful. You have to look at positive side as well.

I will give you example even from Pakistan industry wherein Chinese business man only done the investment and getting most of the benefits under CPEC. So if Pakistan has more billionaires then might you have seen more industries and ultimately benefits will share with Pakistani's and governments as well.

The worlds POOREST countries have been given a moratorium of a year on debt repayments by the G20 . India is a member of G20 and has okayed this baksheesh for Pakistan. Pakistan is delighted to be included in this group of poorest countries something both IK and Qureshi have been lobbying hard to be included

Oh little indian douche, jumping on PDF to express your joy. Now that your little female orgasm is over, please F* off.

No, doubt about that China has done far-far better than India...

Feeding to more Populated is a very difficult task compare to less populated people i .e JOB opportunities etc..

Pakistan has a bigger begging bowl. On a per captia basis you have gotten for more aid than India or Bangladesh

In a bad case of timing $60 billion has been invested on CPEC projects. It is time to pay those loans back

The ends justify the means.
