Citing from the rework of the Cold Star doctrine, how is this 'battle groups' going to be implemented? will it be more inline of the US "Cavalry" (armor regiment with no infantry), US Mech Brigade (reinforced Mech Infantry Regiment with organic helicopter and other assets) , or the Canadian Battalion based battle group model? Or, something completely different. And importantly, how much of a break from the Sundrji doctrine?

Both the Russians and the Chinese are working on their own battle group concepts, it will be great if some of you can share the Indian experience ranging from TOE, Orbat, C3I to logistic support.

InA's current four RAPID divisions are still based on the traditional Div/Regt model with greater mobile assets, not a "battle-group" per se.

No politic please.

The plan is a full thrust assault into multiple anomies at the same time with massive Air Force superiority. If attacked by Pakistan and china at the same time, India will launch self-contained and highly-mobile `battle groups'', with Russian-origin T-90S tanks and upgraded T-72 M1 tanks at their core, adequately backed by far superior air cover and artillery fire assaults, for rapid thrusts into enemy territory within 96 hours.
