While I am not doubting these numbers, they are really really HUGE......I want someone to write an article on how / where such kind of money is spent year after year.

a) Is there a unique ID scheme in China that clearly & distintly identifies each citizen that also stores their biometric information?
For ex: how does China identifies it's citizens that are recipients of welfare scheme?

B) how much % of daily purchase transactions are done electronic vs paper currency?

daily purchase are done by electronic mostly. Only some very old grandama, grandapa stick to bill.
