INDIA, BANGLADESH EMBARK ON STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP SILENTLY

Hmmm if it works in your favor than continue being kicked.
Sometimes a kick in the butt gets everything movin isn't it.
And by movin I meant movin away and not disturbing.

You still don't get it do you, the culture you’re talking about IS what has changed, the food eaten in Bangladesh is not exactly the same as WB, traditional clothes (please get real, its homoginous western clothes everywhere, our cottage industry died with mass garment manufacturing), the music we listen to, even the way we speak Bengali has changed (I have observed this over 20 years).

How can you know about this unless you visit both places, you keep deluding yourself with that arrogant superiority complex that you think, people in Bangladesh still live in mud huts. The villages of yesteryear have disappeared; there have been rapid changes in our society for both good and bad.

I have very close connection with DFID in Bangladesh (where I spend half of the year urban and rural), so I have a pretty good idea about these matters.

THIS exactly what annoys us that a T**T like you thinks you know more about a Bangladeshi then a Bangladeshi does, get off your high horse, read more on BD & learn to respect others.

I dont think Bengali culture diverge the way you tried to say.
Bengali culture is not homogenous even within Bangladesh territory. A person from sylhet will have little understanding about the culture of Barishal, they even dont inter marriage. Same applies to WB, they are definitely way different than that of Assam Bengalis. Assam Bengalis are more close to Sylhet region than they are of Bengalis of Birbhum. Regarding the language you will understan $hit of Birbhumi Bengali or Bengali from Rohingiya from Myanmar.

Saying so there is a very close bond between Bengalis from Bangladesh, Myanmar, Tipura, Assam and West Bengal. Any new band will be equally popular in Dhaka as well as Shilchar. New book published in Calcutta will have no time to be availbale in Dhaka. RD Barman will remain as popular in Bangaldesh as well as in Calcutta so does James or Bonnya. 21st February a solely Bangladeshi event are equally celebrated in Calcutta. Its just bond you cant break. Thats human nature.

If you Indians stopped flaming the thread then we could have a decent discussion on why strategic alignment is simply not in Bangladesh's interest. It would not be a partnership of equals and Bangladesh would be expected to carry most of the burden while India derives all the benefit. For Bangladesh alignment with China makes more sense. Even neutrality between the two is in Bangladesh's interest but India will not accept that.

If Indians flamed the thread why did you not just ignore them or report them and then get back to sane discussion? Why did you also have to respond to their flame baits? You know the meaning of the word 'ignore' don't you?

Answer: You enjoyed the flame war as much as anyone else did.

It takes two to tango!

So just take a chill pill! :bounce:

YOU ARE NO SAINT!

You are really annoying. Always pontificating as if you are some how above everything but you are one of the main culprits who keep trying to derail the thread.

Ahhhh...see...If someone annoys you and you GET annoyed, it is as much your fault as that person's.

Simple common sense.:P

Ok then tell me which country do you expect to treat you as 'equals' other than India?

China?
USA?
Russia?
UK?
France?
Germany?

or Uganda?:what:

Why the hell would India want another hostile state in its neighborhood? We are already well enough troubled from two of them!

Your best bet lays with India. The sooner you realize that the better for you. As far as your govt. is concerned, it seems to have already realized that and trust me India will reciprocate in kind.

Get this India-phobia out of your mind!

Aurthohin, Artcell are quite famous in Kolkata. Artcell is one of my favourite Rock/Metal band(that's a great compliment considering the eclectic test I have :p).

21st Feb, although happened in BD, is celebrated Bengalis all over the world. I think it's been declared as International Mother Language Day by UNESCO and formally recognized by UN.

Definitely India will think of its own interest and so has to be by Bangladesh. Lets assume for a minute that India is dictating its terms and Interest on Bangladesh............ instead of just spitting venom on this forum, why don't you gather like minded ppl of your country and oppose this partnership on the Streets of Bangladesh in form of peaceful march/ Strikes/ Hunger strikes etc.

Bangladesh needs true friends like Pakistan and China we can full fill your defense needs JF-17, AL-KHALID, F-22P whatever you need and Chinese companies are ready to invest a lot in Bangladesh. :pakistan::china:

India and Indian HIV bombs are the biggest threat to Bangaldesh security according to Bangladeshi newspapers.:hang2:

Most people hate India in Bangladesh as well as most Indian neighbors. There must be some good reason and all these people can be wrong. Inidan needs to be broken down to many pieces if we ever going to see peace and stability around S.A.

All indian neighbors working to break India so it can not be undone. ;)

seriously you are one of the most irritating members around, let me know when your done with your mental masturbation and then we can talk. You are truly a huge black mark on each and every Bangladeshi member on here, your stupidity knows no bounds.

did you ever look at his post before ? do you know what he calls Indians ? sorry but he deserves this and much more. The anti-India propaganda you and some more fellows spit out is just sad, shows how heavily insecure you guys really are. In regards to your last post about HIV, I think Pakistan needs to spend some more time on its own people than worry about the number of HIV patients in India. Get over your obsessions about India, it has got you no where.
