Indian Rupee dives a new record low against dollar

“Atom bomb” is the only thing they can talk about. In their 70 years of existence it’s their sole achievement.

The world sees our achievements today, when super power is so f'ing scared of us, everyone is laughing at you. What good is money if you dont have looks and you dont have balls

Nah just cooly adding multiples of Pakistan to our market cap each year now:

https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/CM.MKT.LCAP.CD?locations=IN-PK

In 14 years we added 2 trillion (40+ Pakistan's ADDED) of market cap (700 billion just 2016/17 alone - about 8 pakistans ADDED).

All averages out to about 3 pakistans added each year (like clockwork) in MZM correlated wealth valuation.

How many tomatoes will that buy? Give me the tomato math.

@Śakra

When I say India has twice as many below poverty line as Pakistan's population...phir boley ga kia bolta hay, percentage of population bol...lol

Tell it to them:

Multi spectrum poverty:

India = 0.121 (2015-2016)

Bangladesh = 0.194 (2014)

Pakistan = 0.228 (2012-2013)

Yes Pakistan poverty index is indeed twice as worse as India's. You are doing worse than Bangladesh even.

Such things like being behind India in infant mortality rate by a full 15 years is causing this:

https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/SP.DYN.IMRT.IN?locations=PK-IN

Pakistan infant mortality rate = 61 (2017)

Last year India had 61 as infant mortality rate was around 2002.

Quotes wiki. Why not the original equivalent source data..so we can compare apples to apples?

Be it MPI or HDI, when fuller broader picture is taken into account of poverty and development, Pakistan is falling far behind and the gap is increasing.

Does it hurt you to know your infant mortality rate is 15 years behind ours? That is the result of over focus on your military (due to 1971 paranoia) instead of health and hospitals (and schools). Your poor people suffer big time in the end....and have little option to voice it.

Their HDI is lower than Bihar

Our per capita hit 2K this year. From here HDI rapidly rises

Yes we are at inflexion point. I expect big things from swaach bharat and ayushmaan bharat kicking into full gear. Market cap is healthy (it took only a 8% correction in 2018 overall when I expected lot more than that) and stable. Gross capital formation is picking up again. 2020 - 2030 decade should be the hay-making in sunshine time....and we need the best public-private cooperation that we have ever seen to reach the full potential on offer. From then on its just about maturing and going from strength to strength after that inflection period (Sweet spot) decade or two.

Ok lets celebrate because in India 3 million kids die which is 3% of population VS. Pakistan where 1 million kids die which is 6% of population, also lets celebrate that in India 270 million poors are only 20% of population wherewas in Pakistan 30 million poor are 22% of population...let the celebration continue?? (and please dont go on the accuracy of these number, this is just to make a point, I know you started on you calculator already).

Our focus on our military is the best thing we did looking at current situation. India is being humiliated today only because of 50 year old 1971 supperiority complex. We learned our lesson in 1971 when we were well fed and richer than you while you were spending everything on weapons. so now we are doing the same and result is todays humiliating situation for you...I hope your war mongering leadership learns the lesson that there is no winners in this but loosers, yes you will now show the numbers that you are much better but reality is different where vast majority of Indian (a huge % of world population) lives below poverty, committing suicides, no access to toilet and clean water...and all these numbers are mind blowing.

Okay so India just had an attack in pulwama and monitoring Indian markets of effects of pulwama attack so how did the Indian markets reacted to pulwama attack?

Here is a short observation investors pulled out RS 3000 corer in just 3 days and draw back is not stopping till now so yes Indian economy took a hit of this attack.

taking poverty index of Pakistan at 2013 and yours 2016.

Just 3 year difference, its not gonna halve in that time (judging from previous years data and progression/speed in HDI improvement for example which MPI is correlated to given its multi-spectrum rather than just income based).

It (year difference) didn't stop comparison to project Pakistan as better when India's index was lot worse (in previous years) because its data back then was from 2005 (and thus full 8 years before Pakistan's).

Same people who did that (@RiazHaq etc) no longer talk about MPI....its no longer convenient now....because what I said would happen (wait for India numbers to be updated to something at least from this decade, so we can at least begin to compare in somewhat same timeframe) happened in the end....and suddenly the numbers and analysis from MPI is ignored all together....when just cpl years back it was the first thing to "go to" when trying to put India down on poverty front compared to Pakistan.

No one is celebrating anything. The only thing is you people lie to yourselves the most and deny the most. Its why you lost your eastern wing....and you still do not learn from that. You still feed yourself the outright lie we (India) were "spending more" on weaponry back then....have you even looked at the military budgets per capita and per GDP?

When we compare apples to apples things on development and poverty....Pakistan does worse on at least 9 out of 10 of them I would say. It used to be more like 50/50. If our reality is different than our numbers....yours is even more so and your numbers are even worse. It finally shows in the final 3rd party numbers that cannot be disputed.

This is what touts do: Something goes up 5% - crow endlessly. The same falls 30%. Keep quiet. Then it goes up 5% - crow endlessly. :D

Meanwhile, the world goes on and those who work hard and smart get the rewards.
