AK203 is 7.62*39mm while Sig Sauer is 7.62*51mm, slightly different class. Although personally I would have preferred Sig Sauer over AK203.

Didn't army order some additional 70k units of Sig Sauer too
Our army has a mix between 5.56 and 7.62mm bullets, makes sense to prefer 7.62 due to the surplus stocks and local production? (correct me if I'm wrong it's just my hypothesis)
