INS Vikramaditya trials termed successful

Nice...does this mean Russia will stop blaming China for the bricks now (which wasn't China's fault in the first place)?

No? :undecided:

Btw the media's been giving mixed signals lately, first they say the trails failed now it's a success

At least we have plenty of Chinese walking on this training ship unlke other got delay only few indians on board of Viki to watch how Russian torture this ship in frosen cold sea.

Aircraft carriers are for housing aircraft, not people.

INS Vikrant ( 1961) -

INS Viraat ( 1987 ) -

INS Vikramaditya ( 2013 ) -

India's delay in acquiring its 3rd aircraft carrier can hardly be compared
to china's attempt at acquiring its 1st carrier, which is infact a floating casino
or a research vessel that probably carries no aircraft, hence cannot be termed
a real aircraft-carrier until it does that. china can continue to base and catapult-launch
its sailors out at the ocean.

Damn.. you guys even don't know what's the use of an Aircraft Carrier:hitwall:.. Floating casino used for these purpose like walking and gambling..

Well best of luck for your people who are walking on this ship which doesn't have any single operational aircraft to fly..LOL..

It will be training ship for few years to come. Landing will start accordingly to plan. One can't just come and land an aircraft on moving ACC or still one, with such short landing area.

Its a gradual process. Even when they have completed the required training and have organizational capability, they also have to work on CBG which is whole different game. So my assessment is that Chinese ACC and its other ships in their CBG will take at least 5 years.

And even if they fail in landing or meet accident, no need to worry if pilot is safe. US Navy has lost over 12,000 air crafts and hundreds of Navy Pilots.

You guys know what ? That retired INS Vikrant is better than the Liaoning
casino dance bar. After kicking PAF/PN a$$ in 1971 war, and sending out its
Sea Hawk ac to blast Chuck Yeager's U-8 sky-high, Vikrant has been converted
into a museum in Mumbai now -

Now we have good INS Viraat in service -

Meanwhile, chinese navy has their ex-Varyag with 0 aircraft, gifted by Ukrainians.
But good enough for PLAN sailors to sit on.
