Is it a coincidence that UAE, Bahrain & Israel have the best vaccination records

All the three countries who recently decided to give peace a go. I wonder if the Intel sharing on the virus and vaccine procurement has been the reason for their success?

These middle eastern countries putting the 'superior' Europeans to shame.

Far fetched to say the least. In regards to the UAE, we have a very small population, the vaccine is FREE , and people here are "obedient" and law abiding. Also, more and more work places are telling their employees to not bother coming in to work unless they are vaccinated OR they take a covid test every 7 days (which is not cheap)

Europe ? hundreds of millions of people with many of them protesting in the street because of a mask , so you can imagine what their stance is with a vaccine.

How did all three manage to achieve this? the likes of Belgium only has 2 million more people than Israel and UAE.

It just struck me seeing the table of leading countries to see the top 3 were all in the M.E and all who recently decided to share tech and knowledge with each other.

don't know about Bahrain and Israel , but the Sheikhs of the UAE , for the last 10 years always want to be the best or number 1 or top 5 in anything they take part in (small and irrelevant to big and important)could be that !

and the UAE might have even financed Bahrain since Bahrain isn't as rich, perhaps even Israel to show them were serious about this peace deal

in regards to securing the vaccine in advance , probably the UAE leaderships readiness to pay billions in advance and FAST unlike the complicated Bureaucracy that happens in Europe and all the political red lines that delays the approval of financing it ?

The palestinians have their own health ministry and have procured the Russian vaccine. Israel offered help and this was rebuffed. Of course that didn't stop the palestinians going on western media to tell the world that Israel is refusing to help them.

Under the Oslo Accords agreement, the palestinians have their own healthcare system.

If they are struggling for funds, may I suggest diverting some of the hundreds of millions of dollars they spend on rockets and tunnels, towards buying more vaccines. They never seem to run out of rockets, so their procurement and distribution logistics appear to be excellent.

Bahrain population is around 1.7 million and around 250k people already vaccinated. Small country can handle smartly.
