ISRO launches India's largest rocket LVM3 with 36 OneWeb satellites

Congrats to India for this milestone achievement what is the maximum payload capacity for this SLV
Excerpts from a news article-
”The 43.5 metre tall rocket was launched at 12.07 am after at the end of the 24-hour countdown with a payload of 5,796 kg. The LVM3-M2 rocket is a three-stage launch vehicle consisting of two solid propellant S200 strap-ons on its sides and core stage comprising L110 liquid stage and C25 cryogenic stage.

Just after 19 minutes after the launch, the LVM3 placed the 36 small broadband communication satellites in low earth orbit (LEO).

The launch is also the first for LVM3-M2 to place the satellites in the Low Earth Orbit (up to 1,200 kms above the earth) unlike Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO).

ISRO scientists have rechristened the launch vehicle its present name from GSLV-MKK III as the newest rocket is capable of launching 4,000 kilogram class of satellites into GTO and 8,000 kgs of payloads into LEO.”

Na aise na Karen windjammer Saab, abhi to aapne "how India is rape capital" wala lecture dena hai.. ISRO wale thread Pe.
Lagta hey, koi serious case of cow cola bimarey. Wesey jab agar kabi damagh thora thikaney ahjaye tu, zara search karna, mainey tumarey favourite subjects, matlab, toilets and rapes per last time kub koi thread start kiya tha.

"India should focus on building toilets rather than these" - windjammer
And what is wrong with the statement? Toilet is a million times more important than this. GSLV mk 3 has been launched succesfully several times and now any succesful launch should be considered business as usual rather than front page headline full of self fellatio and chest thumping. Nasa and European space agencies literally send people to space few times an year and launch far heavier roclets than this and you barely find any note of that in their media. Until a new rocket comes out that can launch a larger payload or has other achievements- like less cost or reusable, there is no need for this chest thumping. Concentrate on toilet

I wonder why friend @Windjammer doesn’t find such headlines? He ends up finding only the stuff that is depressing and negative.
The same way Indian posters would do the same for Pakistan - it is after all the purpose of a defense forum which poor burnt dac saab could not understand.

Defense forum = weapons against enemies = enemy is India & vice versa

You want compliments all around go to instagram , tik tok or watch veer zaara for fake mohabbatan sachian

That renaming announcement by ISRO has a nice ecumenical ring to it.

There is a LOT wrong with it because it smells of malice and ill will.

For starters THIS is not the thread for it. Start a new thread for Toilets or Rape if that is your inclination, but stop derailing this thread.

Also Building toilets is a STATE SUBJECT, and not a Central govt. subject.

Modi took it up in mission mode but without the cooperation of opposition parties that run the states, there is only so much he can do.

Here is data on Modi's Jal Jeevan project to provide tap drinking water to very rural houshold in India.

It has competed 100% rural home water supply to Haryana, Punjab, Gujarat, Telangana, Goa along with Pudicherry, A&N island and D&H union territory.

Himachal pradesh and Bihar (surprisin & Uttarakhand has 98% and 96% converge.

But again its a state subject and there is only so much Modi can do.

You are banned, but im sure you will be back with another 10 accounts so going to reply anyway . Your data might be true in the fictional "Modiverse" where vedic era internet and pushpakvimana exist but not in this universe. No proof of this 100% tap supply, and since all media, court and agencies are now controlled by BJP, they can get away with any figures and anyone questioning it will be sent to jail anyway and receive rape threats, like this guy here

or this guy
or these guys

or maybe these guys

or this poor lad here

100% water supply claim is no different than China claiming only 5000 there died of covid and average height there is 5 feet 10 or Putin claiming hardly any Russian solders died in Ukraine, or Salman Khan claiming he is virgin and black buck killed itself :cheesy:

If Modi claims 100%, actual figure is probably 50%, also, Indian benchmark of a house having water supply is a single tap. Having a tap doesnt mean your house has a toilet or is connected to a sewer system.

ISRO successfully launches 'Reusable Launch Vehicle Autonomous Landing Mission

RLV took off at 7:10 am IST by a Chinook Helicopter of the Indian Air Force as an underslung load and flew to a height of 4.5 km.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully conducted the 'Reusable Launch Vehicle Autonomous Landing Mission' (RLV LEX) on Sunday morning. The test was conducted at the Aeronautical Test Range (ATR) at Chitradurga, Karnataka in the early hours of April 2.

The RLV took off at 7:10 am IST by a Chinook Helicopter of the Indian Air Force as an underslung load and flew to a height of 4.5 km. Once the predetermined pillbox parameters were attained, based on the RV's Mission Management Computer command, the RV was released in mid-air, at a down range of 4.6 km.

Release conditions included 10 parameters covering position, velocity, altitude and body rates, etc. The release of RLY was autonomous. RLY then performed approach and landing manoeuvres using the Integrated Navigation, Guidance & control system and completed an autonomous landing on the AlK at the strip at 7:40 AM IST. With that, ISRO successfully achieved the autonomous landing of a space vehicle.
