J-10C A sole international market for China's J-10 fighter jets is taking shape

Of course, J10 Design is a big secret. Nobody knows about old Lavi project anymore.

Hi,

The J10 is a Lavi---but then it is not---. There are a lots of modifications since the original design---.

@Beast clearly mentioned the J10 visits the most trusted---. The hint is clear in that---.

JF-17 Block III will be a very potent multi-role fighter.

Biggest hurdle in way of J10C in PAF is F-16. Is J10C going to replace F-16 or Azm/NGF?

If PAF goes for J10C then it has to be produced in PAC and in large numbers. Replacing F16 needs to be part of overall strategic planning of PAF.

A 100+ J10s would make sense. Economy of scale and localised production will bring the cost down. PAC would have to build another factory which later on can be converted to AZM production.

Anyhow, it is not that simple. It is not just about a platform but about strategic direction Pak wants to take.

Pak State doesn't want to be in one camp only. But build a multi vectored relationship with the world.

Hi,

I hope Feb 26/27th was an eye opener for the Paf---.

Current induction of the J10C's would not be a replacement for the F16's---but rather filling in much needed numbers of 4th gen aircraft in the inventory---.

Even though the reaction of the Paf was noteworthy---a total overall weakness in the numbers regime was very evident---.

He is not setting in the cockpit of J-10C.
Who told you that Chinese don’t want to sell it? Chinese offered J-10A /FC-20 with price tag of 65?million was offered to Pakistan back in 2013 or before. J-10C is probably close to 75 million.
What is the price of F 16 blk 52+ and F 16V?

PAK-FA STEALTH - Per paisay kahan say laingay choronay lota or palay bhi kuch nah chora ... jo nai aye hain vo sambhalnay mein duba daingay.

Pakistan need replacement of Mirages and Mig-35 or J-10C can be good options as we can not replace ever bird with JFT due to role they have in PAF.

The Induction of 5th gen is another ball game and it will be around 2025 for PAF and they will replace old F-16s first, so a 4++ gen fighter jet is still needed to replace 3rd gen fighters.

J10 c is not the counter of rafale .
Need j31 but its atleast 5-6 years away from being fully operational .
J31 could be deadly for any 4.5 and 4th gen if it has highly advanced EWF system , next gen soft bombs , good stealth , super maneuverability with TVC , fire n forget bvr missiles .

Hi,

There is a good chance that the Aim120 won't work as good as the SD10 in the next outing---.

The US won't allow the indians to be beaten up bad---.

main limitation of JF-17 is range/payloads, we will see serious threat from Indian RAFALE, we should consider stop gap interim jet before J-31/AZM would be finalized, most EU/US jets is currently out of reach Pakistan ($$$$ wise/Political wise) so there will be to option left MIG-35/J-10C (SU-35 IS STILL OUT OF REACH OF PAKISTAN AND PAK/RUSSIA RELATIONS IS STILL IN INFANCY STAGE SO YOU DID'T EXPECT THAT SU-35/S-400 DEAL WILL HAPPEN SOON)
and remember bro you can't fit medium weight fighter avionics + radar to light weight jet because its specifically designed for J-10C/D , i think there would be no version of JF-17 after block-3 as some members thinks that there would be semi stealth version of JF-17 after Block-3 and i think after block-3 there would be numerous upgrade for JF-17 utilizing the tech from J-10C, just my 2cent bro @FuturePAF

The key to making the J-31 work is the engines, and sharing of information so that tactics can evolve to maximize the potential of the aircraft. the J-31 is still a work in progress, but advanced enough that getting 18-24 J-31s maybe more combat capable then 36 J-10C. Hence borrowing 2-3 Mig-29s from Sudan, and fitting them with the avionics, radars, and other electronics from the J-10/J-20/J-31 programs would help nail down what the PAF really needs.

The Mig-29 can also be test beds for the WS-19 engine, three panel KLJ-7A radar, ECM/ECCM EW equipement, Comms, Datalinks, Etc. We should not be in such haste to get the J-10s, the J-31s are only a few years from IOC If Pakistan commits to the Design.

Acquiring the J-31 through co-production can open up Pakistan to collaborate with other suppliers to make the J-31 as potent as possible, especially in the area of Datalinks and information warfare. If the Indians don't buy the Gripen, and Pakistan can manage the finances, working with Saab for modern Comm equipment can keep the J-31 competitive across all data spectrums.

why we need Mig-29 from Sudan if we have better options from china/Russia @FuturePAF

Would the Russians sell us only a few Mig-35s knowing we would use it as a test bed? We also want to sell more JF-17s to more countries. Pakistan can learn from rebuilding the Sudanese Mig-29 with the help of China, We can learn to integrate the planned equipment for the J-31 on the Mig-29s, and we can work on writing the tactics with a platform that would have the same size and share the same engines as the J-31.

We also need to find a way to sell the JF-17 to the Sudanese. It would be the first Arab country to operate the type, and could lead to more sales to other neighboring nations. In the end, the Sudanese could get the Mig-29s back with or without the new KLJ-7A radar and/or electronic upgrades, but they would get a MLU in terms of Structural overhaul. Pakistan would then be able to carry out overhaul on more aircraft types. This can open up Kamra overhaul facility to carry out overhauls for other Mig-29 operators and integrate Chinese or Western Sub-Systems.

The goal should not be to acquire a slightly better fourth generation type, but to regain a qualitative edge, so while we wait on the J-31's development to reach maturity and we are stabilizing our economy, we can start to write playbook for the J-31 with a small fleet of Mig-29 test-bed aircrafts.

bonus advantage is training the navy against a similar type as the Mig-29K the Indian carriers will field. It will help the navy refine its tactics for protecting against enemy Anti-ship missiles from Carrier based fighters.

Why we need a testbeds @FuturePAF and both China and Pakistan haven't any overhaul facilitates and one think for sure if Russia will not permit to resale of Pakistan, what happen than @FuturePAF

we are facing serious threats in form of RAFALE and might be in form of F-35 we need a interim jets ASAP, which would be either J-10C/J-16 or MIG-35 as for F-35 J-31 would be there @FuturePAF
