Military Aviation Modelling : JF-17

BTW, I have got swollen fingers now after using scissors the whole day.

What do you folks use to cut the pieces and fine tune the joints?

I have a file for smoothing the surface, but a scissor does a good job as well.

I have got a second model of a helicopter.

Never rush making a model. Take it slow, working for short periods of time. You will enjoy it more, and the end result will be much better.

Do you think using a hot knife or something will help the fine tunings better?

BTW, I made mine in one day!:D

And to be honest, the result is pretty good...the DSI got just a bit misplaced, and then the cockpit. Other than that, it's excellent.

BTW, did you work on the Trumpeter model? Because on the trumpeter, there is no slot for the centreline tank...so I fixed it with glue.

Would it cut the mould joints cleanly.?

I had to file off quite a few...

What does your tool kit consist of?
