But quite costly and you also get out of your ammo really fast. It's not likely that only two vessels would be fighting in the ocean/sea and once you are out of anti ships, you are at gods mercy!

Hopefully when we get VL SRSAM in service replacing the Barak 1 and Shtils should improve the overall air defence.

Currently only 5 ships sport MR SAM. 9 more are on orders. And it's estimated that 14 ships will be refitted with VL SRSAM.
