It's called the Antigradient. 8000kg mass, 120kph max speed, armored against 12.7mm AP from all sides. Ballistic protection is not extraordinary. Mine protection is where it excels though. It's rated at GOST level 5 or protection against a full 7kg IED belly blast. Seats 6. It is too small for the MoD. It is being built as part of an MVD tender first announced last April. The MoD is looking at MRAPs 3x this tonnage

Looks cool! Kinda reminiscent of the APC from Alien movies.

This thing kicks its A$$ all the way back to soviet Russia:

I leave you to judge which one of those is better. For the way the Russian MRAP looks you'd think it would go faster at least.

Interesting. I didn't know the MVD had armored vehicles specially built to its own requirements. That explains why it can't take on tanks, as every Russian Army armored vehicle can.

It appears to have a magnificent off-road capability with a lower center-of-gravity compared to Western vehicles. I predict a healthy civilian market for an unarmored version of this product.

Russian arm industry is far advance and reliable than western good looking dummies.

It can take 12.7mm anti-material fire from all sides??? Is that a misquote? That's comparable to some APCs while able to move 120km/h, WOW! The South African MRAP mentioned in this thread is designed to take typical 7.62mm machine gun fire, albeit with superior IED protection.
