NH Industries signed a contract for the acquisition of 31 NH90NFH Sea Tiger Helicopters, support services and training. Equipped with a State-of-the-Art Naval Mission System encompassing Active Dipping Sonar, Passive Sonar Buoys, Weapons and Leonardo LEOSS-T Electro-Optical System with Laser Target Designation capabilities.

The NH90NFH Medium-Sized Twin-Engine Multi-Role Military Helicopter. The Sea Lion features a reduced set of sensors as the main task is SAR and ship based Transport (VERTREP and Special Forces) and is unarmed.
The mission profile includes ASW, ASuW, Search and Rescue, Maritime Surveillance and Control, Limited AEW, Logistic Transport and Utility Support, Vertical Replenishment, Casulty Evacuation, Special Operations including Counter Terrorism and Anti-Piracy.
